UC-Berkeley police arrest suspect in campus attack on conservative activist

University of California-Berkeley officials on Friday arrested a suspect who allegedly assaulted a conservative activist on campus last month.

Zachary Greenberg, 28, was arrested by university police about 1 p.m., after a judge issued an arrest warrant in the Feb. 19 attack on Hayden Williams, the school’s public affairs department said in a statement.

Arrest records from the sheriff’s office say Greenberg was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and attempting to cause great bodily injury.

Must’ve got held back a couple times

He has a way with words. 😀

Maybe, but they're stupid words.
Trumpers continually try to write off the negative reactions to Trump as bitterness over Hillary losing. That's nothing but a convenient cop out.
The negative reactions and the Trump hatred have everything to do with Trump being historically and singularly despicable, and next to nothing to do with Clinton.
But keep up the right wing narrative.....sore losers, it was Hillary's turn.....nonsense.

You seem to be itching for a fight. There are several like minded guys on this board.

And at times it appears the left is provking the right by pushing an agenda with zero compromise and repeated threats to change our republic by any means necessary.

It doesn't take long when you prove you can't see the difference between a horse and a jackass.
Why feed the troll? Playing with Luther reminds me of those nature shows where grizzly cubs find a turtle. They smack it around, it stays in its shell, and when they're done it wanders off mindlessly.

Only when it's excusable, and I have a mighty fine high horse.
The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy.
Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the liar, but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth.
Through violence you may murder the hater, but you do not murder hate.
In fact, violence merely increases hate.
So it goes.
Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness:
only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

What qualifies as excusable in your mind? Give me some examples where inciting violence is excusable.
I didn't say anything about inciting violence. OC accused me of excusing violence, I just played along and said I would excuse it when it's excusable.
Let's say you see someone kidnapping a baby from the store. I find it excusable to confront the person with violence to keep him from taking the baby.

It's increasing because the right seems intent on being complicit rather than being principled.
Leftie protestors no longer have choice? No longer have autonomy over their actions? Are they controlled by the righties?
I bet you wouldn't have accepted an excuse of bad behavior from your child because 'the other kids made them do it'. We shouldn't accept it from the idiot protestors either.

My original point was, it would seem that violence is excusable if it's left against right, liberals against Trump supporters. Luther had every opportunity to denounce violence based on political disagreement, yet blamed it, not on those committing the violence, but on those being attacked. He then had the audacity to chide someone for "itching for a fight".
