Not to mention, it was excused based on the fact that those attacked were attacked based on political belief/disagreement. And it's the red hats that are fascists.Leftie protestors no longer have choice? No longer have autonomy over their actions? Are they controlled by the righties?
I bet you wouldn't have accepted an excuse of bad behavior from your child because 'the other kids made them do it'. We shouldn't accept it from the idiot protestors either.
Spot on. Luther continues to step in the metaphorical cow pie.My original point was, it would seem that violence is excusable if it's left against right, liberals against Trump supporters. Luther had every opportunity to denounce violence based on political disagreement, yet blamed it, not on those committing the violence, but on those being attacked. He then had the audacity to chide someone for "itching for a fight".

I think so. But that defense is a political process (at best) or a military process (at worst). Private citizens against private citizens is not helpful. However, private citizens against politicians is sometimes necessary. Is there a need to defend once its past the point of threats and becomes constitutional overwrite?
Need to be ready to fight fire with fireI'm not advocating for starting civil unrest and conflict with our neighbors. I'm all for the process to continue within the confines of the constitution and how the original framers intended.
However, when i witness the opposition taking matters into their own hands and using violence as a means to achieve their goals (outside political arena), that is very concerning and needs to be taken very seriously.
