Anti-Trump Hysteria and Silliness

Okay but do you actually think that BO was more "intellectually deficient" than Trump? Because I think it's an objective fact that while BO might have been a terrible President, it's also objective fact that he is lightyears more intelligent than Trump.

Not in the slightest. What are you basing intelligence on? The ability to read off a teleprompter and hold an audiences attention? Ok. You may have a point there. May. But, Trump is way more successful than Obama ever thought about. So is it extremely easy to become a billionaire and succeed in business? No it isnt. If it was, everyone would be a billionaire.

I think you are basing your opinion on the assumption that Obama surrounded himself with career politicians that we have been used to. These people have always sounded a certain way, acted a certain way and have helped forged an image that the POTUS is somehow an intelligent individual that came to his position because of his intellect. Of course we all know nothing could be further from the truth.

Obama failed in business and was basically a nobody before he became POTUS. Bush was dumber than cow 💩 and we all know why he got elected.

Trump is different than Obama. Obama was differenet than Bush. Bush was different than Clinton. Intelligence cannot be measured effectively between presidents. So no, Obama was not more intelligent than Trump in the grand scheme.

So you think we've been in great shape for the last two decades? also, are you actually going to comment on one time that BO misspoke? Come on.

“I hope I said 100 thousand people the first time instead of 100 million. I understand I said there were 57 states today. It’s a sign that my numeracy is getting a little, uh …”

Great shape? ehh better than anyone else. I don't want an President going to another country feeling he should apologize on our behalf. We aren't perfect but a hell of a lot better than anyone else.

I know he knows how many states there are, but the same who want to jump on Trump or even Bush for their mistakes give him a pass.

If Trump would have said the same thing, then it would be construed as the dumbest thing an acting president has ever said. Which it might just be.

Actually you can measure intelligence of a President in comparison with others. Trump has, objectively, been incredibly successful in Real Estate. He has been able to multiply his money times-over. In the process of doing that, he surrounded himself with the best people in his field of work do assist him with the expansion of his business empire.

Then he decided to switch fields in and become a politician. An Intelligent individual, in my opinion, would surround themselves with people who understand politics, understand policy, and understand public relations. Instead he chose to take the same people that made him successful in Real Estate, and build a political campaign. He had a terrible record vetting campaign staff (obviously with Manafort and Lewandowski and Flynn) and almost put his own campaign up in flames when he failed to hire someone to conduct oppositional research on himself. He had the full support of the RNC and didn't use it. It's like, ironically, trying to buy a multi-million dollar home form a high-powered broker without the use of a REALTOR.

I'm not giving anyone a pass. I think counting mis-speakings by anyone in public office is just pandering to one side or the other and it looks desparate. I just don't think there's any doubting that anyone who has sat down and spoken with Barack Obama doesn't believe him to be an exceptionally intelligent person.

Why do you say that? I am genuinely curious. Do you believe eloquent speaking ability is a sign of intelligence?

This is one of the most idiotic takes ever.

You really think the editor of the Harvard Law Review who graduated with honors is not as intelligent as a man who has literally never read a book as an adult and believes Fredrick Douglass is alive, no one has studied the Civil War, and Kim Jong Un and Kim Jong Il are the same person?

When you inherit hundreds of millions it is. Trump is a failed businessman. He is a good promoter and celebrity. He would have more money if he would have collected interest rather than all his failed endeavors and bankruptcies.

I needed this laugh. This was one of the funniest post in awhile.

No, I am not talking about "how" he speaks but his knowledge on what he's speaking about. On several occasions I had opportunities to talk to POTUS on topics ranging from economic development for "quaint" towns to finding the right strategy to sell the North Woods National Park from a PR standpoint and the advise I used from him was exceptional. He thoroughly researches what he's speaking to you about, if he doesn't have time in his work day he would do it in the residence. I haven't met with POTUS yet and I don't expect I will get to until next session, but from what I've heard from people on our staff it's just you speaking, him nodding, no input.

Trump is shameless self promoter that's made a name for himself by licensing his name. He's like the squirrel haired Kardshian of the real estate world. He's famous for how rich he says he is. While he certainly has a healthy net worth, he certainly isn't self made.

Funny that'd he not show us how rich he was, one would think he'd hop at the opportunity to prove it.

The excuses why he hasn't are as wide as they are shallow.

So how do yu effectively measure the intelligence level of two individuals?

Prove that Donald Trump has never read a book as an adult. And Trump is a successful businessman.

Thanks for the deflection. Kudos.

It's not a deflection, it was directly relevant and he's pointing out that your argument is based on bad logic.

You unwittingly just doubled down in an attempt to show him.

What excuses? Why does Trump owe it to you or anyone else to prove how rich he is?

Yes he certainly is self made. Did he inherit money? Absolutely. But what did he do with it? Did he just shamelessly blow it all? Nope. He parlayed that money into successes and failures. Thats business. And thats something that all of you ignorant haters just cannot seem to understand.

Trump is a success. Trump is a billionaire. Trump is the president of the United States. Trump owes you nothing. These are all facts that you and the other crybabies really need to accept.

Wrong. It was a deflection because he couldnt answer it properly. Congrats.

You can know a lot of facts and speak intelligently about them and still be a dumb @$$. There are several posters on this board like this also.

Sorry, Trump has a responsibility to release his tax returns. It'll happen one way or the other. He needs to come out on the "Good side" of this.

I don't normally ad hominem, but you're a moron.

One is not self made after one inherits millions, are you really this ignorant?

Your arguments suck and you have no business discussing intelligence in any capacity.

He has no responsibility or obligation to release them. At this point I don't think it would be a good idea for him to do so, regardless of what they contain they will be twisted an used against him.

He should have released them immediately after the election.

So its a law that he release them? Sorry, but no he doesnt have a responsibility to release his tax returns.

Besides, and I have asked this before, do you truly believe Trumps tax returns will show any kind of accuracy about his wealth? I mean do you honestly believe truly wealthy people keep their wealth by reporting it all to the IRS? Come on man.

The stench of defeat. The liberal is strong with you.

I am curious though, when it comes to intelligence, how do you think it should be measured? We should use Obama and Trump. How can we effectively say that one is more intelligent than the other?
