Anti-Trump Hysteria and Silliness

It's not that you used the wron term on accident. We have all done that. It's that, when pointed out by 72, you doubled down on the stupid. This strongly suggests you don't understand the difference. You might now because you looked it up. So good job Timmy you learned something new today.

I never claimed to be a finance expert. I know he would have made more money with a few investments though. I also know he has failed on pretty much every business endeavor that wasn't a licensing deal.

The point still remains the same. He isn't a good businessman. He was born rich and parlayed that into celebrity. He is a master promoter and endorser. Not a good businessman though.

Trump is a classic con man. By dint of his constant bull$hit, he did succeed, to a degree, in creating a luxury brand--but the only thing he's really good at is staying one step ahead of the debt collector and sticking other people with the bills. He suckered a lot of people into believing he was a good businessman. Read any serious account of his casinos in Atlantic City--he overspent wildly, declared bankruptcy four times--and through financial machinations managed to slither away and stay in business. He doesn't even own most of the buildings with his name on them. Most if not all U.S. and European banks stopped doing business with Trump years ago--that is why he ventured out and stared soliciting investments from dirty/criminal types. Enter the Russians--Putin cronies have invested big sums in Trump properties. This is why Trump slobbers over Putin. Trump has tried to slap his name on all sorts of products--an airline, food, etc., etc. They all failed.

Let's also say this: Immoral, dishonest people get away with stuff. And Trump is not anything is not deeply dishonest and immoral. The man has no shame. He's been bragging for 25 years about how rich he is--how tacky--and yet has stiffed scores of contractors because he thinks he can get away with it. And THAT is the person you voted for for president! Well done. He's dirty. Look at Trump "university." Total con--stealing money from average Americans. He claimed to have contributed lots of money to various charities--and did not. Washington Post did a major investigation of his charity claims--he never sent the money. He used money from his own foundation to commission big oil paintings of himself. He's basically a mobster--and a stupid one, who is probably going to go down because he quite clearly has obstructed justice in the Russian investigation. And however one wants to describe his business skills or lack thereof, he's a disgraceful human being and absolute embarrassment as president.

Ok. I did use the wrong term.

The point was Trump could have let his money sit in a fund and he would have more than he does today. He is a failure as a businessman besides letting people put his name on things.

I know I rarely get anything wrong so enjoy your one chance yall. :good!:

Top 10 most retarded things I've seen on this message board. If you think Trump is a failure as a business man you must be a failure at literally everything in your life because unless you're baby Jesus I seriously doubt you have been successful at every endeavor in your existence.

Absent some proof of big time Russian financing, in flat contradiction to his statements on the subject, there just wouldn't be that much to talk about. Sure, the usual suspects would look for things to promote or criticize, but that would fade eventually.

It's annoying when you refer to yourself in third person, LG

Question, how much money did Trump inherit?

I like this little tidbit concerning trump's business career:
... And as Trump’s casinos ran into trouble, Trump’s father also purchased $3.5 million gaming chips, but did not use them, so the casino would have enough cash to make payments on its mortgage — a transaction which casino authorities later said was an illegal loan.

Impeachable offense imo...

1)How many jobs did Trump create?

2) How many jobs would have been created if he had left his money in index funds?

3) How many tax dollars have been collected based on his properties and income?

4) How many tax dollars have been collected from his employees over the years?

5) Furthermore, I have no idea what Trump is worth, or how much he inherited, so any useful comparison would be subject to exact numbers. Who has the exact numbers?

Govt teet suckers don't care about these things.... they just whine about his tax returns

14 million dollars in an index fund for 40 years does not make 4-10 billion.... People who keep saying that Trump had hundreds of millions of dollars back in 1974 are the same people who don't know Jack about finance.

His father had a networth around 500 million when he died in the 90's, and Donald did not get all of it. Before the 90's, the grand total of his loans from his dad were 14 million dollars. If he stuck that in the S&P 500 from 1974 to now, he would of been lucky to hit 200 million.

Obama is definitely smarter. He ran as a Democrat so he would have the Media on his side, rather than on his ass, like he would have had he run as a Republican.

The most watched cable news organization is a shrill network that blows any conservative that walks within range. Pair this with the numerous faux news blogs on the web and you have people thinking Trump is the second coming of Christ.

Don't forget talk radio. Republican know where they can go anytime 24/7 to hear what they want to hear.

I'm not a government teat sucker at all, my quarterly tax payments tell me so.

I want them released precisely because he's made such an issue about not. He makes the claims of success, I'd like to see proof.

There's a reason he's not, we all know it. I guarantee it's not just to spite the libs. He's hiding something, otherwise he'd have thrown down.

Kind of like Obama and his college transcripts. If there is nothing to hide then show them right?
