Guys who feel they are safely in the first round often pass on the group workouts. They figure all they can do is hurt their stock. They opt for individual or small group workouts for individual teams.Anybody know what this means. Please translate for us duffusses.
Not sure what this means, (other than the obvious that he declined) and he has his own reasons - but Selby declined the NBA's first group workout on May 7 or 8 -- per Chad Ford on Twitter...

You seem to be operating under the assumption that Hopson wouldn't simply shut down when challenged and confirm he's a soft, mentally fragile player. That's a pretty big leap of faith.I just don't see how an advisor with any practical knowledge of basketball could think a year under a no-nonsense coach would be anything but beneficial to Hopson.
