I haven't heard anyone mention his name lately. Has anyone heard how he has looked in practice? I have high hopes for this kid and expected to make a name for himself early

Yeah I saw, he mentioned North, Smith, and Jenkins. However I saw no mention of Harris. Yes, the frosh look good as a whole. But individually it doesn't seem Harris is doing anything to be pointed out about.

FWIW I've heard several radio guys say that he's one of the harder workers we have.

@Vol_Football: JONES: I'm extremely encouraged by our freshmen wide receivers. I'm really excited about the whole freshmen class. They are the foundation.

Receivers today had a pretty rough day, Harris dropped a few in drills.

Butch and Company will be riding their butts when balls hit the ground, as they're trying to keep it between 15-18 balls on the ground.

Overall, the freshmen WR are getting high praise. Marquez is being praised, but also being called raw. Which sounds a lot like CP. Not saying he will be, but the things that are being said about him are similar (though not exact) to what was said about CP last year at this time.

I think Josh Smith and Croom are going to be our go-to guys this year. North will be our "break a big play every now and then" receiver.

Butch said Norrh already knows all the receiver positions. Just needs to fine tune his routes. Also said he will be one of our play makers this year.

Isn't Josh Sit some goofy white kid from Knoxville?

Can you guys imagine lining up Blanc and Smith wide, 2 white receivers. Lol

I'm honestly not that surprised that J. Smith has been doing good in camp. He was extremely underrated coming out of HS IMO.

If I were you, I'd put some sort of sarcasm indicator in there....

Because there's a lot of people on this board who would think, based on prior discussion of those guys, that you might not be being sarcastic.

As much as I can't stand Wes Rucker, he did tweet today that Smith would be one to watch, that he would blow up in this system.

Hope he's right.
