Was just told by a friend of mine that Patterson is in serious academic trouble and if you do make a bowl, he won't be eligible and more than likely just leave for the draft. Said for some ridiculous reason if he did come back, he would be in danger of being eligible in the fall too because he just doesn't care about school enough to try.

This is coming from someone who is in class with him.

You guys heard anything like that at all? How the heck is this possible at a football school????

Welcome to the Jets next year Cordarrelle. Hopefully Sanchez won't be there to mess it up like the last 4 years.

Maybe he needs made an example of. If they know his grades are not up to par and he is not going to class, maybe he should just sit. If he can't go to class, I would not let him use UT as a springboard to the NFL. JMO

No surprise. CP came here for one season to build his resume for the draft. People who thought he would stay were always dreaming. IDT he'll be upset to miss the Liberty Bowl, assuming of course, we're invited.

he has to pass at least 6 credit hours to be eligible for a bowl. Tennessee, Vandy and LSU are the only schools in the SEC that do not count JCO GPA in the cumulative GPA for college. thus if he does not pass those 6 credit hours he will most likely just leave for the draft. However, I truly believes he wants to come back if he could, but I do not think he can.
