Any old timers….

If we could play them early, I think those losses could be reversed. Seems Florida uses the first few games like a scrimmage, to get better and by the time they play us, they've found their legs Too many times I've seen a Florida freshmen QB beat our 3 or 4th year QB. They always play us tough.

I’m always a little nervous about a game at the Swamp. But Florida looked really slow and I think we’ll give their OLine fits. It was interesting to note that before the Utah game, their line had a total of 19 starts between the five starters and one of them had 13 of the 19. They are really inexperienced and not deep. I also think we can run on their defense. It’ll be close for a while but I think we wear them down.

Cautiously optimistic. That I can handle.
The game in Knoxville came down to the very end last year. Florida has had a really good run against us and, in college football, anything can happen. Therefore, my hope is that we take care of business, and I believe we will. I’m optimistic about our chances, but nothing is a given. I do shudder when I hear the predictions from some that Tennessee will annihilate Florida.

Old timer here. Don't remember a FL team that looked this inept. Ax me again after our Saturday DEBUT. I'd take TN by 20+ in 2 weeks right Now though.

It’s not their ineptitude. It’s that right now we have Steve Spurrier and they have Butch

Wishing folks would calm down about UF??

They will still be ready for UT.
Im a bit if an old timer and remember losing many games to FL that we should have won, going back to 1969 gator bowl, but I have confidence in our coaches and dont see how we lose to the FL team I saw Thursday v Utah. The Swamp Jinx is ending this year! Our RB trio will get over 200 yds in the Swamp and Mertz will taste dirt all night long thanks to #9 & 6.

Well, I'm old enough to remember a Tennessee team actually losing to Virginia, and then coming from 15 down to beat them in the Sugar Bowl a decade later. So I've been around a while.

Florida will show up and give it all they have, and might make it close. But UT will win because the Vols are a better team. Heupel doesn't give a damn about 62-37 or Jabar Gaffney or any of that BS and will have the team ready to play.

Exactly. I don't know if we will beat them by 40 or 1 and I don't care. We have a coach now that has proven so far he's arguably as good as any other and nothing like the crap we've had for well over a decade. It's time to stop whining about "oh no, it's Florida, I'm skurt".

Go to the swamp like it was any other crap hole and the one it is, kick their butts and go home. Badda bing badda boom.

I’ve seen this movie before.

Florida is dead man walking, the coach is on the hot seat, recruits are jumping ship.

Hope we put the nail in their coffin instead of giving them a lifeline.

Come on people! Tennessee under Heupel is a vastly different team than they were pre Heupel. The team is so much better prepared than in the last 10+ years. The athleticism is improved by a good margin over those teams. I fully expect a big win on the 16th.
