Can't wait for next season it's going to be badass. I hate it that Mira was killed though she was my favorite. Did Ananious get killed? Can't remember.

I know I'm late but I finally finished up this season. Quite impressed. Although the new lead didn't quite have the look of the first he still seemed to pull it off.

my wife actually caught the face slicing scene while it was on and ask "how can you watch this stuff?" :p

Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma actually. They may be the same thing for all I know though.

Yeah I don't know that any show could ever top the first season of Spartacus. Everything from the fight against Theocoles to the greatest season finale I have ever seen.

The whole season was just epic.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand= Season 1
Spartacus: Gods of the Arena= Prequel to Season 1
Spartacus: Vengeance= Season 2 or 3 depending on how you interpret

I think I got that right. I only caught on to the show just before Vengeance started and I bought Gods of the arena before I saw Blood and Sand.

Yeah man, hopefully that helps you out. I don't think it is on netflix, but I could be wrong on that. The 3rd season may be out on dvd already, but the first 2 definitely are. Hope you catch up and enjoy.

Spartacus is available on DVD or bluray through Netflix but not streaming.

It's one of the best shows out right now IMO (WalkingnDead is the other). I can't wait for the next season, sadly it'll be the last. I'm upset they killed off Mirra though, she was so hot. Anyways, the last season will have a lot to do in Rome so I can't wait until we see how they CGI that. I'm sure it'll look amazing.

Comparing then and now and adjusted for inflation, Marcus Crassus is the wealthiest man to ever live. His net worth today would be $2 trillion.

The show is off to a great start.

Crassus is a BA.

Gannicus is one of my favorite characters.he will finally have to start taking things more serious though.does he end up being a leader in Spartacus's army?

I've read up on the history of the third servile war and Spartacus, Crixus, Gannicus, and Oenamaus (Doctore) all are based on real gladiators from the ludus of Batiatus.

To avoid spoilers, I won't say what I've read but a quick google search or Wikipedia search will give you basic information that is known. I have no idea what the show will do with it.
