Cal would destroy air force. Cal has destroyed air force in recent past (when they were much better than they were last year BTW). Your players and OC were too caught up in the fairytale press they got after the Cal game. They started to think peyton was at QB again or something.

At least you guys are tenn fans and people give you the benefit of the doubt. Non pac-10 people expect Cal fans to be idiots that don't know anything about football because of our hippie rep and such. I just HATE it when people reinforce that by being a) stupid or b) posting anti-bush stuff.

Anti-Bush stuff doesn't bother me. People forget that Tennessee still has the "dixie-crats" and the damn Governor of Tennessee is a Democrat. Shows you what people really know

I don't care what your political opinion is. Football messageboards shouldn't include politics IMO. A small minority of Cal fans seem to enjoy reinforcing the "flaming liberal" stereotype. I'm no huge bush fan myself, but I don't think it has a place talking about something like football. Something we all should be able to enjoy because it is the greatest sport on earth. Why ruin other people's fun?

Cal has a very large conservative student body (the largest republican student organization of any university BTW). Most students would probably consider themselves liberal, but a substantial portion do not. I know people here have flamed Cal posters for making light of Tenn having a prayer before the game. Just this week there was a post on the cal board asking for prayers for a longtime Cal fan. Many people responded with their prayers and well wishes.

I was not aware of the student body at Cal. But political opinions have no business when talking football. I do find it funny that most people think all Tennesseans are backwood rednecks.

Truer words were never spoken. It's nice to have at least one messageboard where I don't have to see the same recycled political arguments over and over and over.

On another note, I can't wait to watch the Vols play Cal. Wish I could go out west for it. It's going to be quite a game.

The refreshing thing about this board, there is a forum for politics in the pub. If anybody feels the need to discuss politics they can take it over there....

:rock: I'm the best man at a wedding the day after. I've already told the bride she shouldn't expect me at any rehersals and such. We're really looking forward to this game (as you can probably notice by me hanging here all day long).
