Somewhere from 3-5. Exactly where is debatable and too hypothetical to argue easily. I'm just making the point that those saying they won't be competitive are way off. They are already more competitive than Tennessee or UGA...traditional SEC powerhouses and all. I have mixed feelings about them joining, but no worries that they can play ball.

I still do not understand why the best conference would feel the need to expand.
I would much rather see teams like GaTech, UNC, FSU, noticing a trend here? They are all SOUTHERN teams, hence the name Southeastern Conference.

If A&M was in the SEC this year, they'd immediately be the 3rd best team. For that matter, in the past 3 years (or maybe more), they'd have beat the piss out of us in football. If you don't want expansion, that's fine, but don't pretend they can't hang. There's plenty of cons, but them being uncompetitive isn't one.
