I get that we currently aren't very good, but something seems off at the giddiness of so many posters saying we have no chance.

Don't regurgitate the stats about record in ranked games, lack of talent, etc; because I know all of them. I agree.

But damn, is it necessary to belittle posters who like to have a little faith and optimism. Right now, all we have is hope, as Volunteer fans.

I am very much in favor of Tennessee beating Georgia. I'm all for it.

I agree and am a realist. It just becomes tiresome at the ennui of our fans. The only thing that irks me is when some fan says we'll win and he's blasted by 7 straight post.

Do I agree with that fan? No way, but I don't find it necessary to take jabs at his fledgling dream.

Sometimes that is confused with reality and recent history. Neither of which a pretty at the moment.

I don't expect UT to get the free chances they got against UF, and UGA is better top to bottom than UF at this point.

If UT doesn't hand UGA points with turnovers it will be a 20 point game, if UTs D plays pretty well.

As it stands there are 3 more teams on the schedule UT just does not stack up against at all. UGA, Bama, and USC.

AU, Mizzou, and Vandy are games where you field similar talent and with good coaching and development you should have a shot to win, by the time you play them.

I would love nothing more than for UT to beat Jawja in the only game I can make it to this year. But I'm not going to hold my breath..

Some people are on some serious drugs in here thinking we will beat GA. Could we beat UGA? Possibly, but I don't think we will. I haven't seen anything from this team as of yet to make me feel we have a shot. Now someone please pass the chronic my way cause I want to feel like you motherfawkas do.

You must not watch much football, Georgia was one play away from beating Bama in the SEC championship game last year....Georgia may indeed be better than Bama this year

Can win it? Absolutely. Will win it? Doubtful. We haven't overachieved in almost a decade. And we'd need a QB to do it.
