I get that we currently aren't very good, but something seems off at the giddiness of so many posters saying we have no chance.
Don't regurgitate the stats about record in ranked games, lack of talent, etc; because I know all of them. I agree.
But damn, is it necessary to belittle posters who like to have a little faith and optimism. Right now, all we have is hope, as Volunteer fans.

I am very much in favor of Tennessee beating Georgia. I'm all for it.

People keep coming up with these unrealistic expectations then getting mad when we don't live up to them.

As it stands there are 3 more teams on the schedule UT just does not stack up against at all. UGA, Bama, and USC.
AU, Mizzou, and Vandy are games where you field similar talent and with good coaching and development you should have a shot to win, by the time you play them.
