He’s a traitor. Don’t care what happens to him

With few exceptions, we're all traitors. Ever transferred to another school for any reason? Ever switched product brands? Ever moved to another town or state? Ever shopped somewhere you normally didn't? Ever departed from your usual restaurant menu choice? Ever returned an item to a store after deciding you didn't like it or found a better deal elsewhere? All that and more are switcheroos, traitors by any other name. AHHH, we Vols fans, at times I wonder about us. Kiffin, Hurd, and Henry T , this is our real problem:
Those happy hours that we once knew
Though long ago, they still make me blue
They say that time heals a broken heart

But time has stood still since we've been apart

Well wishes for the young man. Majority of Vol fans condemn him for transferring to the dark side. Majority also don’t know or understand what happened behind the scenes. He was originally torn between us and Bama during his recruitment. It should be no surprise that would be his pick when the sh**-storm happened here. He’s a good person with a lot of heart. Only wish good things for him.
Everybody knows Saban has cornered the Pacific Islander recruitment. Henry was misplaced.

How many of the "Henry Haters" on this forum would refuse a significant improvement in their career potential to "stay with the team" if it was obvious "the team" was in bad shape and your future was going down hill with it ?? You're talking about Henry's chosen CAREER. To be clear...I don't like anything about this but unfortunately with the opening of the cashbox allowing NIL payments to players we're in a different world now. Power 5 football is a BIG money business and has been for a very long time. What you're so upset about is that the curtain allowing us to believe in a mythical "student athlete" has been drawn back and you don't like seeing reality being thrown in your face. The "rah-rah" the "old college try" and "taking one for the team" have been replaced by slick agents making big $$$$ deals of NIL cash for the most promising athletes. Henry went to a school whose QB ( SOPHOMORE Bryce Young) is already taking in nearly a million dollars of NIL money. To you Henry haters then...please tell us how you intentionally diminished your chosen career potential to stay in a flailing company and "take one for the team" .

Perfectly stated @guido4198 ...thank you.

He and his family participated in violation of NCAA rules. No coach offers money unless someone associated with the player indicates they are interested in money. Not saying Coach Peanut was a victim of circumstances but both parties are guilty of violations. Violations that current Tennessee coaches who didn’t pay anyone, players who didn’t get cash & Tennessee fans will have to endure. So, no I don’t give a damn what happens to him.

You mean he actually got on the field playing for Bama? I'm shocked, shocked I tell you after the talent evaluators here on VN said it would never happen.

You're acting like he left here to go get better money when that wasn't even a thing when he transferred. He left here to go to Bama, it's that simple and for that he can **** right on out of our fans hearts.

During his recruitment I expected him to go to Bama to start with. I’m not surprised he transferred there. And I’m refraining from saying anything negative about him.

I will despise him just like any other player on that team. Sorry but I cannot wish success to another team, especially one of our rivals. May he have a fruitful life off the field but a dismal career on the field.

Got no love for Eric Gray, Henry T and anyone else who quit on the vols. Rest of you cucks can sucka root. Difference in generations. My generation we were winners and competed for NCs. The best team the younger generations watched was a butch Jones coached team that beat UF and UGA but craped the bed vs weaker teams, and lost their way out of a new years 6 bowl. Glad I grew up when I did. Gotta feeling the older vol players wouldn't stand for this **** either.

I hope #10 doesn’t get injured and I don’t wish anything negative upon him, but I don’t wish for on-field success for any Alabama football player, rarely have. Carson Tinker and Prothro, but that’s it. So why the f*** would I ever wish success for the guy that would’ve been the leader of our program but left to go to our biggest rival? He didn’t have to go to Bama. Let’s not pretend like his options were limited.

I wish him well in life, beyond that he is an Alabama football player. I hope he whiffs on every tackle and sucks on the field. Why should I feel any different for him then any other Alabama player? He's turned his back on this team, we in turn do the same. He's an Alabama player just like every other.

This 100 percent. I don't ever want Florida or Alabama players to do well, no matter what. I hope he gets burned on slant passes over and over.

As far as him leaving, I doubt he had a choice. He couldn't stay after he took money and Tennessee cleaned house of all those involved.

Couldn't agree more with your last two sentences. Any team, and I mean any, would have welcomed him with open arms to lead their defense.
