WTH? Vols have a RIGHT to pull against the tool of CFB. That's not a slight on Vol fans---just a NORMAL response. Where were guys like you 3 years ago? The guy showed NO character and dumped the proud Volunteers like they were Slippery Rock. C'mon Man.

SC (7-6) and UGA (8-5) sucked that year. FL he coached to keep it close and not get blown out (moral victory U started there). Ill give him some credit for Bama but Saban made some qustionable decisions that game which kept us in it (remember forceing three passes to Julio Jones on the goal line?).He also blew it vs UCLA, Auburn, and Ole Miss.
He isnt a very good gameday coach plain and simple. He is a good recruiter when it comes to star power but his classes haven't exactly held together very well.

FTR I never liked the hire. I started to buy in somewhat after Bama. I wasnt happy with how he left trying to take recruits with him but in the end I'm glad he is gone. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy watching him squirm.

Yeah I enjoyed it, would by a liar if I said I didn't. If he isn't fired after that, he will for sure be on the hottest seat in the nation next year.

You are wrong about that. He was here, got a good look at recruiting in this area, and is still cherry-picking some blue-chippers from this area, guys that could be wearing orange for us. So, yeah, I hope his glamour turns to tarnish sooner rather than later.

Lets clarify on something. He knows offensive football. He and his posse can recruit at least to get kids to LA. But and it has shown every where he can not coach a lick. He is immature and it shows everytime he is interviewed and by the actions that occur on the field. UT is very lucky this guy left when he did or there would be more than enough trouble around him here.

Perfect scenario.....Kiffin gets another year, hangs around until USC is off probation, and gets all their schollies back. Then Haden kicks him to the curb and hires a real coach. Poetic justice, and could very well happen. Thanks for being the placeholder Lane .

USC's performance against GT doesn't bear that out. Not to mention other games. "GYPSEY ROSE" Kiffin almost certainly will be kicked to the curb, only a question of timing. Good thing Gypsey's big ego doesn't allow him to read USC blogs/forums where they are trashing him, and have been for a long time. Such is the life of an itinerant coach with a big ego.

No. It's like when the hot chick you just started dating dumps you for another guy. Then you see photos of her with her make-up off and teeth out. Then you find out she has herpes.

I now live here in LA (media is going nuts) and have friends that are on the inside. He was very close to losing his job last year and begged for one more chance. Just know he is as good as fired now. They have added his name to the fire lanes at school so it reads "FIRE LANE KIFFEN" All I have to say is that karma is a *****!
