Don't believe it, but also don't think it's all that far-fetched.
Menopause can be a nightmare for anyone, especially a head coach in the SEC. And based on his recent actions, it's clear that Urban's battling the symptoms of this inevitable transition in his life. The irregular heartbeat, the irritability, the anxiety, the vaginal dryness. It's a textbook case.
We've seen one rash resignation from him already. It'd be no surprise to see another. And in his condition, who could blame him?
brother looks bloated to me.
His issues have nothing to do with the talent gulf that exists between the two recruiting grounds. His consistent ability to convince people that Tebow would be a linebacker is an altogether different story, however.
I don't hope he chases anything from anywhere. I don't care who the opposing coaches are. I'm just telling it as I see it. Meyer isn't remotely the coach that Saban is. He keeps recruiting defenders well and keeps a d coordinator with a clue, he'll be competitive. He is not in Saban's arena as a football coach. He can match him with the word mincing and half truths on the recruiting trail.
That theory worked great the last time Florida promoted a Defensive Coordinator.I agree.
When Coach Meyer decides to move on. Coach Strong will likely slide in at UF and continue the success of dominating the "we used to be good"s in the SEC East and winning a few NCs every so often...
if coach saban allows it to be so.
The more unbiased decider would be from fans such as us as to Saban or Meyer. I think Saban is the better coach by a significant margin.
I agree.

That's just stupid.
Except for John Brantley, Cameron Newton, and everybody else.
Come to think of it. Tebow could have played LB, let any vol coach pick the Gator QB and the Gators still would have won 4 in a row.
No way in hell UF wins at Tennessee in '07 without Tebow at QB. Tennessee led going into the 4th quarter, it was 3rd and Tebow that won the game.
Your last sentence pure homerism.
I think you meant '06...and it was Tebow converting on 4th and 2 after Leak wimped out and slid on 3rd down.
Jim Bob Cooter could have started for UF in '07 and we woulda won by 20 instead of 39. That's not homerism...UT was just that bad in '07.

I didn't think we were very good. But UF must not have been head and shoulders better, or we wouldn't have been in the SEC Title game.

Division titles don't mean squat if you lose the SECCG....unless you're Ole Miss or Vandy and you have plenty of space to hang banners and whatnot. UT got crushed by its two biggest rivals and UGA almost played for the national title without winning its own division.
'07 was a weird year.
We simply quit playing against UF in 07. IMO. Saying we were "really bad" is ridiculous.
