I’ve wondered if anyone knows whether the staff plans to try to red shirt him ? And does anyone know how many games he can participate in at this point and still be eligible ?

anyone with a redshirt year available can participate in 4 games or less in a season and be redshirted. Nico has been in 2 games so he could be redshirted if he only gets in 2 more games.

From a planning standpoint, they are not planning to redshirt Nico. They hope to get him reps in games if the situation gets to the point they are comfortable playing him...

If you think he’s going to stay here four years, not to mention five, then he’s not nearly as good as we think he is. The redshirt isn’t relevant.

He does not have to live up to the Hype to be a really good QB
