Anyone watch ANY SyFy?

I'll admit, I'm not totally upset the show has taken a hiatus. It was getting kind of stale and they had switched from the monster/creature hunting to doing a ton of ghost/evp stuff that was essentially the same thing Ghost Hunters was doing. That got old and kind of silly, especially since at the time there were already 2 Ghost Hunter shows on (the regular and the International, which is now cancelled).

I know one of the producers who also produced I think The Amazing Race died last year, so that might have something to do with it. Plus for a while SyFy was really saturated with these shows. They have/had 2 Ghost Hunter shows, Fact of Faked, Paranormal Witness, Haunted Highway, and even the Joe Rogan show is kind of like Destination Truth. Plus for a short while they had that Beast Legends show which was almost a complete knockoff of DT.

I used to love the show First Wave. It came on from about 1998 to 2001. It mixed Nostradamus with alien invasion. I remember watching it a lot on Saturday marathons. The third season it got silly and it was cancelled after, but it was fun for a while.

Fact or Faked was interesting I thought and Jael left Destination Truth for that show.

I kinda knew this was coming as long as it had been. DT couldn't have been very cheap/easy to film with travel & locations.

I how ever don't expect we have seen the last of Josh Gates!

Definitely not. Not only was he good at the DT thing, he has the personality and charisma to be a great television personality. I'm surprised he hasn't gotten into acting.

Hmmm so he's basically doing the same show on the Travel Channel?

Sounds like it may have been a money thing.

WhAt I find funny is syfy imagine greater.
I can imagine greater.

It has become predictable for syfy movies to be low quality I know it's b movies they aren't meant to be Jaws or The a Godfather league major movies but still doesn't mean they can't be decent.
There are ones that aren't so bad they are good which is sad.
Last decent movie I can think for syfy was the stone monster I think.

Metal Hurlant Chronicles
The premiere was tonight syfy may have struck gold with this.

I just set Metal Hurlant Chronicles to record. The first one says 2012 the second one says 2014. Is this just a mess up by Syfy or is this an old show brought back?

It's possible it was filmed in 2012 and due to problems or some delays it got pushed to 2014.
Also possible it's a error. I do recall seeing promos for this online 2012 I think or early 2013.

Actress and model Kelly Brook will be kicking ass a woman that kicks ass and shoots guns. So something new for her to show she can be more than just eye candy.
Jessica Alba kicked ass in Dark Angel maybe this could be Kelly's dark angel.
No relation to Kelly Lebrock even though astounding that both are attractive red head models-actresses, and are from England.

I figured it was a guide mess up, but wasn't sure.

Kelly Lebrock was sooo fine.

Trademark don't hate me because I'm beautiful.

Episodes involving kelly brook in next week episodes.

Didn't see the first episode but saw the second and ending had something like I've never seen before in a tv show,

No clue, i set it to record just to see what it is. Haven't watched it yet.

Man, could you maybe put the slightest bit of effort into posting?

You could at least surprise me some day by doing something sarcastic like Let Me Google That For You Coug. :)

And then be like...

And after watching that trailer... WTF?!

You know I'm lazy. Lol

An anthology series in which each episode is a self-contained story set in a different world, with all stories linked together by an asteroid called the Metal Hurlant, which is passing close to the planet that is the focus of the current episode.

Evidently it was a french show that Syfy bought, which is why one episode is 2012 and one is 2014. Would make more sense to air all of the 2012 episodes first, then the new ones. But the episodes aren't connected except by the asteroid, so i guess it doesn't matter.

From what I read it's based off a successful French comic book series if I recall right, and this was during the 70s I think in which the comic books were released.

Hbo had Tales of The Crypt maybe this could be Scyfy's Tales from the Crypt.

Kelly brook with the leather jumpsuit makes me think of Selene of underworld who also is played by a English actress.
I recall seeing in the teaser her character does kill a guy I think by snapping his neck. Cool to see Kelly as a woman that kicks ass most other roles I've seen her either a damsel, or she's mostly eye candy.

Although in survival island or three she used a American voice very impressive because it didn't sound like her at all.
