Best car on the track today...........:banghead2:

I'm glad that Jeffy was ok, that was a scary wreck. I expected him to whine about it in the interview afterwards, but he surprised me and he was very classy about it. I think being married and being a father has toned him down a lot. He doesn't irritate me as much as he used to. I know you are shocked. LOL

1. Casey Mears
2. JJ Yeley
3. Kyle Petty

Pretty funny.

I love it when someone you would never expect to win, does. I get tired of the same ole, same ole winning all the time. I was more happy for Kyle Petty than any of them.

Hell Ill admit I cheered when Gordon wrecked.......call it moronic or whatever, but with safer cars, safer barriers, and better technology, the risk of injury is extremely low.... of course I was glad he was ok, but its just a reaction to cheer (atleast for a second) when the driver you hate wrecks....its just part of the passion of being a hardcore nascar fan :good!:

There's no such thing as low risk when somebody hits a wall at 150 mph. If you don't believe it, go get in a low speed auto accident and see what you feel like the next morning.

It's amazing how these drivers are able to put up with all of these hard crashes and come back the next week or day and do it all again.

if it was anybody else, I wouldn't believe you just said that, but since it's you, I do believe it. The risk of injury is never low when in NASCAR, i'm sorry, I don't care how safe the cars are. When someone hits a wall at 150 mph, there is no such thing as low risk. The passion of being a NASCAR fan is to cheer when a driver wrecks??? No, that is not being a fan at all, that is being sad and pathetic. I do not like Dale Earnhardt Jr, didn't like Dale Earnhardt Sr, don't like Tony Stewart, I consider myself a hardcore NASCAR fan, but I absolutely do not cheer when either of them wreck, or when Dale Sr. wrecked.

once he gets out of the car under his own power and waves to the crowd or whatever, then cheer for him wrecking all you want. until then, sit down and shut up. it's that simple.

and that was real hard lick he took Sunday. reminds me of the one Mark Martin had in the fall race last year. it's a good thing NASCAR has saftey measures to keep drivers safe.

absolutely, if he gets out of the car and waves to crowd and is fine, cheer all you want that he is out of the race and can't win, but not while he is crashing and his 3400 lb race car is flying into the air after hitting the wall at around 175mph.

the wreck that Reutimann had a California was found to be one of the hardest wrecks in the history of NASCAR and he walked away with no injuries, just sore.......

your point? that still doesn't mean it is low-risk. that may not happen every time. ask any driver out there and none of them will tell you it's low-risk when something like that happens.

Gordon's hit at Pocono last year was the hardest until Reutimann's this year at Fontana.
