because we don't have that many members old enough to have been in vietnam..then if they are old enough there's still a chance they didn't serve in vietnam..

hence why I thought the number would be less than 10,

there's maybe 3, that I can think of

Someone 58 or so could have been in Vietnam. Not in the heat but towards the winding down and pull out.

After a while I quit watching Apocalypse Now, it was random and out of control. Just didn't make any sense.

I watch Apocalypse Now from a Heart of Darkness standpoint with Vietnam being an acceptable vehicle/parallel for the story. It's more important to capture the environments from the book than to be factually accurate.
