They still deep fry those honeybuns ?!
Eaten there dozens of times. Johnny's was an event meal.
The only thing worth doing on that campus.
Johnny's Big Burger
and the fries wee always perfect.

I took my future wife there on our 2nd date. She was extremely impressed.

They actually brush them with butter and fry them on the burger griddle.
Had a whole bunch of them over the years in that craphole town.
Easy chief, I'm from that craphole. I went to APSU back in the late 90s, I'm sure Clarksville has changed quite a bit since then....Johnny's and...$hit.... there was an Dairy Freeze place not too far from the old Vulcan tire plant...had the best homemade milkshakes. I believe it was called the White House...wasn't much bigger than a phone booth, but those honeybuns were the business.

Didn't hurt.
We ate there two or three times per week for a while.
We were expecting soon after we met, and Johnny's was her pregnancy food craving.

I lived there from 1990-94, and owned a house from 2002-2009. I was deployed with the USAF most of that time. Wife was craving Johnny's in 2008 and early 2009.
Haven't stepped foot in Clarksville since the day we sold my house.

My Dad was military and we settled into Clarksville when we got back from Germany in 83. I graduated from NEHS in 96, went to The Peay for a few years, transferred to Memphis...met My wife shortly thereafter and have been up in the PNW ever since. I haven't been there since My Mother passed, and haven't had a desire to go back since then. Still have quite a bit of family there.

They did come prepared, but they also played dirty. Trying to injure another teams players who isn’t a rival in a game that will have zero bearing on your season is just sorry as hell.
You could omit everything between ‘players’ and ‘is’.
The way they played is indeed sorry.

I did my first Master's at APSU (second at UTMartin).
Taught 3 years at Kenwood HS. Rough school, but I got along well with those kids.
Then moved to my hometown in WestTN.

Just got back from Tennessee a couple days ago from the AP game. With all the tributes to past players I was surprised that we had a "legend" walking thru our section on the visitor side....... Casey Clausen !! Everyone recognized him and waived and he waived back. He looked great. like he could still play.
