Easy chief, I'm from that craphole. I went to APSU back in the late 90s, I'm sure Clarksville has changed quite a bit since then....Johnny's and...$hit.... there was an Dairy Freeze place not too far from the old Vulcan tire plant...had the best homemade milkshakes. I believe it was called the White House...wasn't much bigger than a phone booth, but those honeybuns were the business. They actually brush them with butter and fry them on the burger griddle.
Had a whole bunch of them over the years in that craphole town.
Are You saying You owe Your successful marriage to Johnny's Big Burger ?! Is that what You're telling Me ?Eaten there dozens of times. Johnny's was an event meal.
The only thing worth doing on that campus.
Johnny's Big Burger
and the fries wee always perfect.
I took my future wife there on our 2nd date. She was extremely impressed.
Didn't hurt. Are You saying You owe Your successful marriage to Johnny's Big Burger ?! Is that what You're telling Me ?
My Dad was military and we settled into Clarksville when we got back from Germany in 83. I graduated from NEHS in 96, went to The Peay for a few years, transferred to Memphis...met My wife shortly thereafter and have been up in the PNW ever since. I haven't been there since My Mother passed, and haven't had a desire to go back since then. Still have quite a bit of family there.Didn't hurt.
We ate there two or three times per week for a while.
We were expecting soon after we met, and Johnny's was her pregnancy food craving.
I lived there from 1990-94, and owned a house from 2002-2009. I was deployed with the USAF most of that time. Wife was craving Johnny's in 2008 and early 2009.
Haven't stepped foot in Clarksville since the day we sold my house.
You hang onto that Young Lady, She obviously knows a good thing when She sees one.Eaten there dozens of times. Johnny's was an event meal.
