So is the bending issue just with people who like to put their phones in their back pockets and are sitting on them? Or is putting the phone in side pockets of a say pair of jeans (nicer, so not tight but the pockets aren't as free as say khakis) causing issue as well?

I guess I should probably also note my phone is a 6 rather than a 6 plus, and it does have a case on it (a tech21 case; "classic check").

I watched a bend test last night and it took quite a bit of force to bend the 6. Even then it was a very slight bend and the tester bent it back pretty easily.

Since it has been a while since the launch, how is everyone liking their iphone 6's? Is there anything that exceeds expectations? Anything you don't like? Are most of the bugs now fixed with IOS 8? My iphone 6 plus should be coming in sometime during the next few days. I preordered mine back in September and it has taken this long to come in, so needless to say I'm pretty excited to finally be getting it. The one big concern I had with getting the plus was carrying it around and pocketability. Is anyone having problems getting used to it being so big? Are there any cases that you guys recommend? I was thinking about getting a lifeproof case because I've heard good things about them, but they aren't even available yet and theres no ETA on them either. Thanks for any help you guys can give me!

I'm going with the 6. Stopped by AT&T the other day & they're not receiving much of anything. I'll keep trying.

I love my iPhone 6. I wouldnt say it exceeds expectations but it certainly meets them.

I'm still seeing a few bugs even with iOS 8.1. For instance, when I try to message a picture from the photos app it does not let me see the recipient line. If I start typing the suggestion do down spots up but I still can't see the line. If I try to type a message first I can't get back to the line. It can be quite frustrating.

Personally I think lifeproof is a waste of money. My wife had one and it slowly came apart within a year. Just my 2¢.

Thanks that's good to know. I still have the iphone 4 and I've had the otterbox commuter series case on it for a long time and I love it. I've dropped my phone a million times and my phone has never been hurt by it. I was considering lifeproof because a friend of mine swears by them and says the case is thinner than the Otterbox.

They are thinner which decreases the protection from drops . The water proofing is great at first. I wouldnt trust it after an extended period of time though. There was a little sponge that covers the charging port that easily comes out of you aren't playing attention. Also the plastic is very thin and purple to hairline cracks. The rubber bumpers on my wife's started peeling away from taking it in and out of her pocket.

I just think they are extremely over priced.

Side note:
A buddy and I went to a Panera for lunch and he used his 6 for Apple Pay. Worked like a charm. Set up is so easy he did it while waiting in line.

I wanted to try too but none of my cards were compatible yet. 😕

My iphone plus came in. It's actually a lot easier to pocket and carry around than I thought it would be. I really like it so far. Are there any settings you guys recommend me changing at all?
