Actually, no. Oddly enough the Karcher manufacturer doesn't take direct orders and gave me about 4 numbers to call of various companies that sold their parts. ARB being the closest location of the four.

no, I mean to have ARB ship it to you direct from their supplier. Amazing how many times people will balk at $5 in freight when it would save a world of headache and money for the company. That is why I said I'm surprised they've put much effort into it at all since your order was most likely a loss

Yeah... even at Lowe's, they charged me $9 for $9 springs I needed for my lawn tractor.

They are definitely not making any money on the transaction. I guess to me the frustrating part is the Karcher company themselves don't ship the parts direct, and have the customer contact these small businesses to begin with.

While I know it's not a big money item for ARB, the battle should be between them and Karcher, not the end customer. Apparently, somewhere along the line they had an agreement to provide their customer service in this manner. At the end of the day, I got the part so I'm done with the nonsense. Just seems like the process is obviously broken.

By the way, direct shipment was never offered.

don't kid yourself, they lost money on the transaction

very few manufacturers sell directly to the public. It's actually how stores stay in business

I'm sure they are taking a loss. I see this type stuff everyday. It's still not the end customer's problem. Either Karcher or the appliance stores making money selling Karcher products need to realize when a consumer purchase a $400 pressure washer, at some point parts will need to be replaced. Personally, I find it odd that Karcher only uses sporadic applaince stores to sell their parts. Has there been one in Knoxville, could have popped in after work scooped it up and been done with everything.

ARB employee? or someone coming off looking foolish not knowing what he is talking about? You decide.
Never even heard of ARB until today. You are the type of person that *****es when they can't buy a 35 cent pack of gum with their credit card. When you cost a company money, they aren't going to care.

Lol. You and squirrel boy must be the husband and wife tandem that run that joint. That or you have a crush on me and this is the only way you can get me to communicate with you.

While I find you to be damn sexy, I'm an equal opportunity destroyer. I take shots at everybody.
It's fun. I think you're starting to get it though.

In all seriousness I've bought parts for my pressure washer b
There before without issues.

 Watch your nads. Some day soon you might run into a sense of humor and you know what happens then. Just love your heightened sense of self importance. You can rest assured nobody has a crush on you or wishes for you to communicate with them..

Just wanted to share my experience for anyone living in the Chattanooga area wanting to do business with these clowns.

Horrible customer service. I was referenced to these bozos through the manufacturer of my Karcher pressure washer. I ordered a part from them to attach to my pressure washer. The part was $2.50. I waited for 2 weeks never receiving the part. I called back on 8/14/12 and after talking to several clueless people found out that the part was ordered but lost. They never offered to order the part again, no apologies, nothing other than another 800 number and a redneck old timer blaming everybody but themselves for being a 2nd rate operation that seemingly can't perform the simplest of tasks.

If you use this group, hope they are coherent the day you do business with them because there is no way they will go the extra inch let alone mile.

You are the type a person that is too dull to assess all of the facts before spewing off a bunch of nonsense. Don't blame you though, they've been dumbing down society for years. Don't need your approval. Don't care.

You misunderstand. I do have a sense of humor. But last I checked humor=funny. Nothing you have said has been funny.

I do find your last comment ironic in that you continue to respond. You have a 'crush' on me too?

sanddune,

I have some contacts I work with that specialize in a lot of these various obscure parts (I have to find stuff just like this a lot in my job). If you can give me the part number for the washer or for the inlet connector, I can see if they have something similar that you could use in the future and that will be less aggravating.

I appreciate it. I'll shoot a post as soon as I pull the part # out of the owners manual.

What ever became of this? I never got a part number... I assume duct tape worked???

Reading back through the thread, I was the only one trying to help.
