Exactly. I am really not into the race yet, as far as paying attention. So my wife and I decide to watch this last night to see what this guy has to say. So at that moment he has a chance to "grab" our attention. Perhaps Giuliani should be pissed at Hannity for doing such shoddy work. But then maybe that is the way Rudy wanted it?
For many years we have been electing the lesser of available evils instead of the best candidate. Possibly because a good candidate hasn't run.

This country needs change. Badly. It needs to close it's ranks, take a stand on immigration, bring back old fashioned values, church, dump the current welfare system AND tax system, put an end to any and all racial bias including ANYTHING that is strictly aimed at one race no matter which it is. Notice we don't have the United White Folks College Fund? STFU Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton, etc. No more Gay Pride crap. Gays, races, religions, or whatever other group should have equal opportunities, but not be celebrated because they are different. Live your lifestyle, but you don't get a parade unless we have a Straight Pride Parade. Healthcare needs to be changed. Smokers should pay higher premiums as well as the obese. These are two of the top drainers of the healthcare system. If you choose to regularly engage in illegal drug use, your govt funding is cut off. So are your medical benefits. If you are convicted of a crime, same thing. If you have more than three kids and they all have different fathers, get your tubes tied. No extra money because you choose to continue to be a tramp. If you drop out of school and it isn't because you HAVE to work to support your family because of the death of your parent(s), you do not qualify for govt aid. Every high school graduate must serve one year in the military and get money to help with college. Dropouts must serve 4 and get trained as a ditch digger. Parents should be held accountable for their kids AND be allowed to discipline them. Teachers should be allowed to discipline kids too. No teacher should have to take a bunch of crap from a kid. Run the government like a business. If the "employees" aren't getting it done, fire em. Hire somebody that will. Congress doesn't get a freaking pay raise unless everybody else does too. By the same percentage. No more whining about how everybody hates us. Who really cares? No matter what we do or say, somebody is gonna hate us. We need to accept some hard facts. The middle east isn't going to be peaceful. Ever. Leave them alone. If they start crap with us, wipe them out completely and take their stuff. Don't like it? Don't start crap. And afterward, don't feel sorry for them and give them everything back plus more. We kicked your butt, it's our stuff now. Sorry your innocent people got killed in the process. Sucks for them. Maybe they should have tried to make some changes of their own. Oh, and if you wanna come here, learn the damn language. All government forms, job applications, driver's licenses, etc. should be in ENGLISH. You want to celebrate your culture? Go back there and do it. If your country is so great, why did you come here? Sorry it sucks there, but why come here and try to make this country just like the one you left? Wouldn't THAT suck too? Go back home, get your shiat together, then EARN your citizenship, leaving your old ways behind. Oh and that crap about coming over, having a kid and getting to stay, NOT. Take that little screaming baby back too. This is America. Either live by OUR customs, learn OUR language, and abide by OUR laws or go the hell home. Oh and it's CHRISTMAS, not "Happy Holidays". Sucks for you if you are offended. Get over it.

Sorry, but this crap pisses me off.
[/quote]3) Fine, now let's refine the drug policy in this country. When marijuana smokers start killing people by the thousands in car accidents, then we can put it one the same level of alcohol, and quit looking down on people for their "dangerous illegal drugs." This type of slippery slope argument makes no sense. Sort of a there are no victimless crimes argument. Where do we stop? Heroin, Cocaine, LSD, HGH? Until the drugs are legal, they are against the law and the rule of law is a part of advanced civilization. Allowing us to selectively abide by the laws of our choosing is tantamount to nature's law. The current laws were emplaced by our elected officials under our constitution. Until enough see the world your way, it's against the law and punishments should apply. We don't need drug users to start killing people to know that it's against the law.
4) No one should ever be forced into military service, period. There are those of us that do not want to fight, nor do we think it is necessary. I agree regarding conscription, but fighting being unnecessary is just absurd. I don't care if you never want to fight, there will always be those out there who do, for any one of a million reasons. Negotiation and babbling are cute forms of diplomacy against tyrants, but are useless in the absence of a true threat to back one's position. Stay in la-la land where everyone is kind-hearted, but please don't let your doves and flowers get in the way of a full understanding that we need the ability to defend ourselves at home and abroad.
5) Really? I mean, do I even have to respond to this? Innocent casualties are always a tragedy and should be avoided at all costs. Why should someone who has no involvement in anything have to worry about being bombed into oblivion? More carryover from point 4, whereby you assume everyone is kind-hearted and that we can all find a way to hold hands and get along. Nobody wants collateral damage of any kind, but it is reality.
6) The melting pot that is the US has one set of customs, since when? Or did you forget your ancestors came over on a boat like most everyone else. Agreed.
7) Again, not everyone is a Christian. I am not, so I say Happy Holidays, because there are other holidays pretty close to Christmas. If it offends you, once again get over it.
I do not care what you say, just don't be offended when I say Merry Christmas, even at the corporate level.
emainvol I applaud your honesty and you are very much entitled to your opinions. But you seem to be one of the people that is offended. Those of us who have to put up with things about which I spoke have been "getting over it" for years now. Usually having to because of the "system" that is in place. As for marijuana, it's illegal. Period. I didn't make the law. If enough people want the law changed, it will get changed. I neither smoke nor drink. And both are dangerous. Anything that dulls the senses is dangerous when driving. And I am sure there are many people killed yearly because someone was driving while stoned, but passed the breath test and a blood test was either not administered or was not done in a reasonable time limit. The breath test is the standard field test. Last I heard it checked for blood alcohol levels, not marijuana. But hey, we can agree to disagree and probably have some very good discussions on the topic. I respect your opinions and your right to voice them. You might change my mind on something.
