Are we ever going to catch Georgia?

There was a time when UGA had to be asking would they ever catch UT. Hopefully, the pendulum will swing back our way.

Yep. With good QB play we could have went to the wire with them this year.

We will only catch them if we start recruiting at or near their level. We have a nice recruiting class for next year but it’s not elite. I don’t see us stringing top 5 level classes together anytime soon and trying to make up for it in the transfer portal isn’t going to cut it IMO, especially with Texas picking up steam lately and joining the conference too. Catch-22: to beat Georgia you need elite players but to get elite players you apparently need a recent history of winning big…

We know UGA will recruit nothing less than top 3 from here on out. So how do we overcome that?

Parlay the number one QB (Nico) into a number one recruiting class for '25. It may not happen, but beating them with sub-par classes certainly won't ever happen.
