I am not taking a side on this subject but i will say this:

First off....Brent and Bo are both kids......KIDS......and kids fight. I dont care who they are or what they do, anyone woulda stood up in that situation. I&#39;m not saying it was the right decision.....as a matter of fact, i&#39;ll say it was a bad idea. It made the team and the university look like it lacked any type of control of it&#39;s athletes. At the same time, has anyone thought about the fact that these guys are fighters in the first place? They live their lives in a very agressive fashion. Football teaches you to hit....to be agressive......to get up when you get knocked down. I think it was bad decision making, but at the same time was a typical thing to happen. Football players are not ordinary athletes. They are trained.......especially at this level.....to be agressive or they wont survive in the world of football. Sometimes that overlaps into the "real world". YOu can&#39;t push a football player like you can an everyday college kid. They hit each other EVERY DAY&#33;&#33;&#33; Its such an unfortunate, yet unavoidable situation......

WSV: I am not going to go by the claim of whether or not you are a UGA fan... I am giving you the benefit of the doubt. Have faith that Fulmer and the proper authorities will take care of the situation regarding Schaeffer and Smith.

Anybody dogging WSV: Cut it out. He may be a Dawg. Who cares. If you&#39;re going to voice your opinion, please try and do so without flaming. There are rules for this.
1. No Personal Attacks/Family shots will be tolerated on this board. If you don&#39;t like what someone has to say then don&#39;t read it or post why you think they are wrong. Posts where members start calling each other names wll be deleted and the members risk losing their posting priveledges. Family shots will get you banned for good.

3. Fans of other teams are always welcome here. However you should keep in mind that this is a Tennessee board and be respectful of that. Members who come in here just to take shots at our coach/team are only in here to start trouble and will be banned.

Bottom line: Be respectful of each other.

A little ribbing is ok, but if your posts consist of nothing but taking shots at coaches, players, teams, other posters, etc., then this is not the place for you. And if you have a problem with content from another poster, then report it, because we don&#39;t catch everything. We believe in freedom of speech, but do it with some class.
