There is a lot of interest in this game locally. But there just is not a lot of excitement of the kind that is motivating people to go out and buy tickets. Perhaps if the loss to Michigan happens in week three it would be a lot different. I am fired up for the game. But the best way to describe the general mood right now, it would be hopeful pessimism. Day is going to have to prove that he can win a big post-season game before a lot of people get too excited. Been there, done that, seen it. We are always in the top five then something always happens to blow things up. Key players might get injured as happened with our line. Or the kicker might shank a field goal into the stands in the final second. Something always blows things up and people are spooked and putting up mental guards to not feel let down if it happens again.
This is very well stated about the vibe in Columbus right now. I hope the fans come out for a top match-up game. I hope the team and the coaching staff shows up too and brings their best as well! I'm with, I've seen this movie too many times.

Thank you.

And I assume you are coming up I-71 Northbound. I highly recommend you divert to I-270 and do the end-around to circumvent the interchanges through Columbus. There is a lot of construction going on and traffic is usually a mess anyways, especially if you are coming in on Friday afternoon or evening. Just hook back up with I-71 North of Columbus and then hit the Polaris exit.

Do you think it would be okay to walk 1.5 miles south down the river to my hotel or nah?
