Are you pulling for any of the remaining teams...

These results are not gonna matter for next year. I’ll never be a “conference guy” and pull for rivals.

And why would they not matter? The past success of the SEC and teams like Alabama plays a huge part in the playoff discussion every year. Why else do you think there was legitimate debate about letting a 9-3 Alabama into the playoffs ahead of a 11-2 SMU this year? Or last year when 1-loss Alabama got in over undefeated Florida State?

What's happening this postseason will have a huge impact on how the playoffs debates go next year. If the SEC continues to get waxed by the Big 10, we will no longer get the benefit of the doubt about playing a grueling schedule. Think about it this way. As a 2-loss SEC team we were ranked ahead of a 1-loss Indiana. A major reason for that was because of the perception that the SEC schedule is tougher than other conference schedules. If the perception that our conference schedule is strong is gone then why would a 2-loss Tennessee be ahead of a 1-loss team from another conference? Next year you'll see 2-loss Big 10 teams being ranked ahead of 1-loss SEC teams because the perception will be that their conference is tougher.

I will watch the games , it’ll give me a reason to sit on the couch and drink a few cold ones. I can still day dream about our beloved VOLS still fighting for the championship. I will cheer for none !

As a previous poster said, after UT is out I don’t really care who wins.

I would be okay with Oregon or TX though as someone different and deserves or semi deserves to be there.

I used to like PSU somewhat as my uncle who went to UT undergrad was a professor at PSU for around 11 years before becoming back to UT for a bit.

However, any team coached by James Franklin I will always be against. I had a family member raped. He has now ignored or covered up in some form of fashion this at two schools. He should never lead young men again or have the opportunities he has. Depending on details we may never see from court he might should be in jail for a while. Bad things happen under coaches and no matter how good of leaders they are they can’t control everything. But how smug he is and it happened at 2 places…he has a very, very punchable face.

Obviously the pedo issues prior are as bad or worse too. My uncle was an Ag professor there in the 90s before that was known.

Dislike UGA and Bama for obvious reasons

Dislike Texas because they started the conference realignment movement

Dislike Oregon because they started the alternative uniform movement and the fact they are now able to buy the bestplayers

To lesser extent dislike tOSU, PSU and Notre Dame but for no particular reason

Have no negative feelings about ASU.

So Go Sun Devils!!

And FWIW I have close relatives with whom I correspond regularly that graduated from PSU, UGA, Bama and Texas

I was hoping for a Boise State vs Arizona State natty game after we lost. Boise just didn’t have the horses to ride with Penn State, but Arizona State can still shock the world today by beating Texas.

For those that have not paid attention to ASU this year, what Dillingham has accomplished is nothing short of a miracle. That program was dead two years ago after Herm destroyed it. We are talking a Pruitt to Heupel level turnaround.

I don't want OSU to win it all, but if they do to all the other teams what they did to us, our loss won't look as bad.

I like the logic behind a Texas-Georgia final since the SEC has looked pretty pathetic so far.

Pretty much shut it down after our loss. Looking forward to the 2025 season. No interest in other teams.
