You also don't understand how audits work. That's very clear. They can't do all this and then file a report that says "conclusion: fraud. Trump wins." and we all go home. The process of an audit includes the raw sources no matter the industry. You have to have a reference to a discrepancy. Once those discrepancies are provided, the raw data/source is reviewed to confirm or dispute on method, result, classification, etc. If they don't do any of that and have zero support to the claims, then the audit has no merit. It's that simple.

Even if we are talking about mere optics here, Republicans in the Arizona state legislature should still have chosen some other company to conduct their audit. How about any company whose owner hadn't already reached the conclusion that fraud had taken place and posted that belief to the website of a discredited 2020 Trump campaign attorney? Basically, any other company would have met that criteria, except for the one that Arizona Republicans chose. And why were they chosen, if it wasn't because of the obvious bias of their owner?

Because the audit is a fraud, designed to animate the hard core of the base and foment illusory doubt in election security that will help justify state GOP efforts to place hurdles on voting.

These people defending this are idiots. It is not normal for the owner of the firm conducting the audit, to draw a conclusion before the audit even began.

And Logan was also very active in the "Stop the Steal" movement... that shouldn't be a surprise.

Who gives a ****. The results will stand for themselves. If they don't offer back up to the discrepancies then it has no merit. Your focus on the who is a waste of time but you're obsessed with bitching about Republicans so I guess carry on.

maybe next time the republican candidate shouldn't disparage American POWs. he/she might have more success in Arizona if they didn't do that

Hell yes the Ds want the audits because the audits will find nothing but minor problems. They will (are) use that to raise money, the Rs want it to keep the $$ flowing and the base stirred up. They are all on the same team.

You think it's OK to keep one party from poll watching. You think it's OK for an election worker to scan a stack of ballots multiple times on camera? You really think that a massively unpopular so called president got the most votes in the history of an election. If you believe any of this makes an election fair, you're gullible.
