He will have Arky on the bubble after tonight. Heading into tonight their RPI was in the 70s, that's just too high to be considered a tourney team.

Their SOS is crap

Interesting. Not that it matters (as I said, he didn't have Arky on the bubble prior to this game) but Lunardi has Arky jumping us if I'm reading it correctly. Regardless, I don't see how he has us in right now unless he's projecting us to win our last 3 (which I've seen him say he does).

Because with our RPI and SOS you won't find a team to have ever been left out with similar numbers, it's really that simple.

The Last 4 in is a moving target. Not a good place to be since all the upset league tournament winners will knock out one of the Last 4 in. Vols better win out plus get to Finals of SECT.

Yeah well I'm perplexed. I love UT but this coach HAS to go. He has under performed at a ridiculous level. If we get in I fear he stays and that will NOT be good for our basketball future.

Winning out and one in the sect works as well. If we make it to the finals were untouchable imo.

I just don't see any way the SEC gets more than three teams in and Arky is on a run now. Imo, they are the third team as long as they win out.

We are toast.

On another note....good grief Bobby Knight is really losing it. Trying to act like he knows if a free throw is going in just by the release of the shooter? Sad to see him reduced to being the announcer that he is.

The SEC is soft this year...the good news is the bubble is as well.

Although Arkansas types of games tighten it up. If the Ducks knock off UCLA, I'd be more worried.

I don't get why people seem to think this, there is no such rule. They just said on espn 2 days ago SEC looked like it could get just 2 and now looks like it could get 5.

This stuff has a lot of moving parts, if Arkansas and Tennessee both win out and get 1 in the SECT they're in, that simple.

Just glanced at Arkys SOS. Ours is miles ahead of theirs. They're also 4-7 away from home court. We're 6-7.

I make that call based on recent NCAA tourney committee selections. Probably a bit insane on my part. But I don't agree with you in saying if Tennessee wins out plus one in the tourney and they are in. That would put us at 12 losses and that just won't be good enough, IMO.
Our goose has been cooked for weeks, and that mess at Texas A&M nailed the coffin.

If Tennessee wins out and one in the SECT, that is a semifinal loss to likely Kentucky or Florida...just saying

Winning out and 1 in the tourney has us at a projected RPI of 44, we likely wouldn't even be in the last 4 group, we'd have a bye. We would be in, I would just about guarantee it, only hesitation is you are indeed talking NCAA.

There last game is away @ Alabama. They play UGA & Miss next @ home. They lost to UGA following the last Kentucky win. I don't think the win out. If they do win out then maybe. They need a lot of help in the SOS. 84 isn't good.

We will see I guess. But the likelihood is that we won't even make it to the tourney on a four-game run. This team has consistently proven they can't stand prosperity and will probably go down to Auburn.
This has sure been a very disappointing season.

I'd really love to see our guys get in the tourney...that way we could justify keeping CCM another year and get pumped for the big year we're going to have next year and on into the future with him being the face of our program!! Futures bright!!! BBC!!! :crazy:
