I think they're like us on that one....Malzahn has very little time as a head coach and their situation REALLY needs an experienced longterm type of coach to get that program back on track....

Looks like Arkansas is going to make the first move for Peterson as early as today! Per my sources from bama nation Keith Story.

It's all about principle. Start this is 'Around the NCAA' because it pertains to Ark or TN coaching search because of Peterson.

Effort, rules, and thread police keep this place orderly and one of the best forums of any NCAA team.

I am hoping that Hart knows what he is doing and that he is keeping the search close to the vest rather than doing nothing (which I doubt is happening). The lack of actual news is driving me nuts. I feel like we know more, or at least there are more rumors, about nearly every other coaching search. Arkansas appears to have already been rebuffed by Gruden and no one knows for sure, except Hart and a few others, if UT has even talked to Gruden even though the rumors indicate that UT has talked to him but to what end is unknown. Now, Arkansas is apparently making a run at Petersen. I covet Gruden, Stoops, Fisher, Petersen, and Patterson. Any of those names would be huge hires and I am pretty sure that Hart has those names at the top of his list. But, with all this time passing and no real news about the search, it is driving me crazy.

Apparently, the grudenville secret source was "Cindy Gruden," according to them at least. They deleted the original post where it was mentioned, but I did a screenshot that caught it in a quote.

Yes, I am a Vol fan. Very much a Vol fan, however both of my parents graduated from UA and I have alot of family there so I keep up with them more than any other SEC school.

Doesnt make me a troll.

FWIW, per many outlets, the Razorback Foundation (the big money boosters Walton, Stevens,Tysons, JB Hunt) is having an emergency meeting at 5pm.

I would assume it is due to something signifigant. Possibly to finalize the terms of a new hire. It may be Randy Sanders for all I know.

I haven't been following closely, but it seems the Arkansas search is sparking even wilder rumors than the one here.
