Arkansas Week

I just hope their turf is in good shape. We need to see our punt return game break out. Punt coverage unit has not been up to its usual standard, either.

These are the things fans of the #4 team whine about. 😌

Been a few years... I've missed it!
Should be in good shape since Arkansas has only had one game in Fayetteville so far this year lol

they’re just an average team, but the most complete team we’ve played so far. Not that we’ve actually played a good team yet.
Average for a T25 team who is beat all to hell, their Availability Report says it all.

As we’ve seen, no team can be taken for granted. We’re going in the road for a conference night game against a middle of the pack SEC team. On paper, we should win. On paper, UGA should’ve destroyed UK. There are plenty of other examples as well. A lot of folks are already talking about Bama but let’s whip the Hogs first. Ever since I’ve been a UT fan Arkansas has played UT tough. Green is a good QB, similar to that freshman OU put in. We can force Green into some mistakes but he will absolutely make some plays on us too. We won’t have the first ranked D after this game and that’s ok. Let’s just get the W and stay healthy!
The only thing I will say is this. Our head coach has matured to the point that neither he, nor his team, will take any team for granted. He will play every opponent as if they are the #1 ranked team in the country and will not let up until it is evident that there isn't a sign of life in them. He has also shown that if the opponent tries to take advantage of taking the foot off the gas pedal, he will stomp it back to the floor.

We’ve generally come ready to play under Heupel. Even games we’ve lost haven’t been like those games we saw under previous coaches where it seemed the team didn’t care to be there. It’s tough to prepare each game like you’re playing a UGA or Bama but under Heupel we’re as close to that as I think is possible.

If both teams use their QB's as part of their rushing games it could be a wild night! AU is sure to do this whereas UT is more likely to let Nico burn them with the pass.
