LSU star LB Perkins out for season with torn ACL

LSU's top linebacker, Harold Perkins Jr., has an ACL tear that will end what was expected to be his final season with the Tigers before entering the NFL draft, LSU coach Brian Kelly said Monday.

LSU coach Brian Kelly confirmed Monday that Perkins, an AP preseason All-America selection who'll be eligible for the 2025 NFL draft, has an anterior cruciate ligament tear that has ended what was widely expected to be his final college season.

I wasn't exactly screeching for him, but I would have been OK with hiring him given the other names being thrown around.

His inability/lack of desire to find a portal QB and turn their offense around is pretty surprisng. Auburn fans have to be pretty despondent right now because many of them thought they got their guy.

Oklahoma released their updated injury report on Thursday for their game against Auburn on Saturday and it revealed that the Sooners will be without five wide receivers and one of their top running backs.
