You're older than I would've guessed.

28 not that old.
I know about it because I've seen the untouchables movie with De Niro as Capone, also I'm a sucker for mob in entertainment along with to learn about the mob in non entertainment mainly the Chicago outfit but also other mobs.

Adam hunt has to much pride to decide he can't beat Green arrow I'm hoping that he reappears.
Green arrow is the Elvis Presley of archers. Yep he's that damn great with a bow and arrow.

I didn't expect Oliver to induct Roy into the group quite like that, or quite so soon even.

This article is from earlier this month so some stuff has already been shown. But, the discussion on the upcoming episodes says it will be villian, villian, and more villians.

Though Arrow, as of late, has focused on the Lance family dynamic -- and certainly Wednesday's episode continues that trajectory -- Kreisberg said that the next batch of episodes, kicking off Feb. 26 after a short break, are villain-centric ("villains a go-go," as he endearingly termed it). "It's just villain, villain, villain, great big villains, one after the other," Kreisberg said, hinting that some will be "returning favorites and a couple of amazing brand-new ones."

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim added that episodes 14 through 18 "are very much the villains' chapter [of the story] and it builds" to episode 18, which he promised is Arrow's "big mid-midseason cliffhanger, if you will."

In addition, the Birds of Prey and Suicide Squad are coming.

The 17th episode, airing March 26, won't be a direct adaptation of the Birds of Prey comics; instead, it'll have an Arrow spin. "We gave ourselves room to grow and evolve," Guggenheim said. "Birds of Prey is very much the same thing. You're not going to end up with the Holy Trinity of Oracle, Black Canary and Huntress right out of the gate. We'll get there." When the Huntress (Jessica De Gouw) returns, "Helena is gone, all that's left is the Huntress," Kreisberg teased. "She's become consumed by this vengeance for her father and when we see her she's in a very haggard and worn-out state. It's the big final confrontation between her and her father, and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) gets in the crossfire, and the Canary has to go into the rescue."

The teases have been sprinkled throughout the series, with the Suicide Squad set up in last week's episode. Producers revealed that the 16th episode, airing March 19, will be titled "Suicide Squad." And yes, it will revolve around the Suicide Squad. The episode will see Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson) return, with her recruiting Diggle for a mission, and she "saddles him with the Suicide Squad, including Floyd Lawton (Michael Rowe)," Kreisberg revealed. There will be Diggle-centric flashbacks during his time in Afghanistan with then-friend Ted Gaynor (Ben Browder).

Forgot about Birds of Prey, probably because it's been done on TV before, but I called the Suicide Squad early on. Yes, I will continue to give myself kudos for that until someone else recognizes my accomplishment.

Also, anyone else catch the mention of Slade's son, Joey, in the flashback? Joseph Wilson, aka Jericho, was a Titan, just like Roy. Some of the villains used also have strong ties to the Titans. Could they be setting up an eventual Titan storyline? Hmmm....

JOHN WESLEY SHIPP Joins THE FLASH Pilot in 'Mysterious Role'

JOHN WESLEY SHIPP Joins THE FLASH Pilot in 'Mysterious Role'

TVs original Fastest Man Alive might be meeting TV’s newest Fastest Man Alive on a recurring basis. The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline are reporting John Wesley Shipp, the beloved star of CBS’s 1990’s short-lived The Flash series, will join the cast of The CW’s new The Flash series starring Grant Gustin in the title role/Barry Allen.

According to THR, Shipp will guest star in the pilot playing a “mysterious character” and if the show receives a series order his role would expand to recurring.

With Geoff Johns co-writing the pilot, and the so-far supporting cast almost all steeped from Flash and DC comic book lore , the Golden Age Flash Jay Garrick is going to be the name most comic book fans are going to focus on until the role is officially revealed.

Don't believe so. So far I think they've only referred to him by his real name, Slade Wilson, though he did appear in costume in the last episode.

I think there was by himself?

Doesn't do him justice should be by green arrow,or some other character.
But if only he knows his super villain name then not shocking.

Something I want to see that does't involve super villains.
Corrupt Cops abusing their power against Muslims and other middle eastern people.

Not only would Green arrow dash the corrupt cops even with them having guns they be picking their teeth up for a week.

First look at The Flash! From what I can tell as expected its the DC Comics New 52 costume. It appears to be more burgundy color but its shot in shadow so just how dark the red is we can't tell!

Meet Your TV FLASH... IN COSTUME!

Meet Your TV FLASH... IN COSTUME!

THE-FLASH-First-Image.jpg

As production is about to kick off for The CW's new superhero series The Flash, they sent out this image via press release of Grant Gustin in the costume - well, at least of his head.

The costume was designed by Oscar award winner Colleen Atwood, who also designed the costume for Arrow. The press release also announced that the pilot will begin filming next week, so expect more pictures from the set soon, most likely.

The first look at the costume shows a darker red than what comic fans may be used to (the bright red might do strange things to color saturation on screen). There's a chin piece to the costume holding the mask more solidly in place, and what appears to be some sort of collar coming up over the base of the cowl.

The Flash spins out of Arrow, having introduced Barry Allen in the middle of the second season of The CW's successful new DC Comics series. It will stay in the same universe, which has already established a multitude of DC Comics characters, including Deadshot, Deathstroke, Bronze Tiger, Black Canary, Huntress, and many, many more.

Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and David Nutter are executive producing the series (all also on Arrow), with a script by Berlanti, Kreisberg, and DC Entertainment CCO Geoff Johns being directed by David Nutter.

The Flash: CW Reveals First Image of Grant Gustin in the Full Suit!
The Flash: CW Reveals First Image of Grant Gustin in the Full Suit!

Our first look at Grant Gustin in the Flash suit continues to build the hype of the CW pilot.

We were first teased by our initial look at the costume, which featured only a profiled headshot of the mask, which was still enough to get us excited. Earlier today Grant Gustin tweeted to his fans another tease, asking if they were ready to see the full suit.

Gustin and the CW didn’t disappoint and released our first look at the full Flash costume that we will see in the pilot episode.

Grant-Gustin-as-the-Flash.jpg

Much like our first image of the mask, this look at the costume doesn’t quite offer us the full picture. However, we do get a look at some of the fine detailing that stood out with the mask image, as well as our first look at the Flash symbol.

Obviously the suit can look nice in a picture, but the real test is when we get to see it in action, which will probably not be for a while. The mask looks a little clunky at this angle, and offers a different look from the side profile, but it’s not enough to dampen our excitement. These images are only building anticipation for the pilot, which is currently filming.

David E. Kelley’s failed attempt at Wonder Woman attempted to build some anticipation by releasing an early image of Adrianne Palicki as Diana Prince, but that was met with a pretty poor fan reaction that did not help the pilot find a network.

What do you think of the new Flash suit? Are you having flashbacks to Palicki’s Wonder Woman or does this look at the suit give you hope? let us know in the comments section below!

Interview: Marc Guggenheim Talks About Characters Learning The Arrow’s Secret (Possible Spoilers Within)

DON'T READ BELOW IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED!

To promote the return of Arrow this Wednesday with “Suicide Squad,” Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim today participated in a Q&A session where he talked about many subjects, including the notion of so many characters learning Oliver Queen’s secret. With Diggle, Felicity, Sara and now Roy knowing about Oliver’s alter ego, could that list of people in the know keep growing?

“I would say it’s going to go up before the end of the year,” Guggenheim answered when a reporter asked him about the growing list. “By the finale, more people will know than currently do.”

“It’s funny, [and] we talk about this a lot in the writers’ room: Are there too many characters who know, and does it diminish the secret identity? Where we have come from is the philosophy that when people know – when members of our cast of characters know – it draws them into Oliver’s world, and it draws them into the show more, so we tend to get more story out of people knowing than people not knowing. You could say ‘well, too many people know,’ but the truth is, we use the Dark Knight Trilogy as our north star or compass, and a lot of people knew, particularly by the third movie, that Bruce Wayne was the Batman, and it doesn’t diminish my enjoyment of watching those stories unfold,” he explained.

“Obviously, different philosophies, different points of view,” he continued. “I wrote that line in Episode 12 about ‘how many people know?’ ‘Too many people,’ really, as a nod to the fans who have been complaining ever since episode 16 of last year, when we told Tommy, as a nod to those fans who do feel like it’s too many,” he recalled. “But for us, as writers: We always go towards whatever gives us more story and more interesting story, and for now at least, certain people knowing is more interesting than certain people not knowing.”

On that note, Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne’s character) was a detective… yet all this time around the Arrow, and now seeing his own daughter palling around with the Arrow when Oliver is nowhere to be seen: Shouldn’t that be a hint? What’s going on there?

“I will say, Episode 19 pretty definitively, I think, answers that question, as far as Lance is concerned. And the answer to that, I think, will surprise you. It’s not something that you would expect,” Guggenheim teased.

A new episode of Arrow titled “Suicide Squad” airs Wednesday night, March 19 on The CW.
