Finally caught up the last couple episodes but I don't get how Slade knows the story about who Thea's father really is. Maybe I'm forgetting something that happened?

I don't think you're missing anything. I think Slade Wilson/Deathstroke is in cahoots with MM/Dark Archer, but that hasn't been revealed yet.

That was the other thought I had but I just didn't think Slade would team with anyone.

Slade has a history(in the comics) of teaming with young women he can manipulate, hence Isabel in this series. Isabel knew the secret of Thea's paternity(due to being the elder Queen's mistress) as revealed in this past episode. That's probably where he got his info. And Deathstroke is very thorough in researching his prey, which is probably how he found Isabel.

I thought the scene between Det. Lance and Laurel was fantastic telling her it doesn't matter who the Arrow is. He is was a Detective I'm pretty sure since he knows Sara is the Canary that he has put it together that Oliver is the Arrow.

Even though it's toatally inappropriate for the show, the little boy in me would totally geek out if Ollie ever pulled out a classic boxing glove arrow from his quiver. Yeah, totally cheesy, but cheese was the norm back in those days.

Holy Crap!!! :yikes: Did not see that coming!!

I have been so busy I didn't get around to watching this week's episode till last night! I was not expecting that to happen this soon and by who did it!!

If you haven't started watching this show for what ever reason give it a chance its darn good television! :good!:

I thought it might happen, but not this soon. Next week's episode should be intense. Can't wait.

Not sure how I feel about them reusing the "you chose" bit again, that seems weak. What can I say other than I'm glad they didn't kill Thea, at least she's easy on the eyes. So it wasn't made very clear this last episode or I missed it. Did Thea finally sign those papers so the Queens could keep their assets?

Things are starting to come together only two more episodes left!

Question, when Isabel is finally put down does Queen Industries revert back to Oliver?

Next week's preview!

Tonight's episode was okay, but I'm almost starting to feel like they're dragging the story out a little too long. I've gotten to the point I groan every time they do a flashback to the island. I'm ready for the Deathstroke storyline to wrap up so we can get to something fresh.

I'm hoping next season they flesh out Black Canary more. If they're going to continue with the flashbacks, I think they need to move on to her time with the League of Assassins. If they bring in Ra's al Ghul, I'll be impressed. I know he's known more as a Batman villain, but he and the League are badasses.

Also, just as an aside, it would be interesting if they somehow introduced Deadman into the series. Seems like Sara mentioned Nanda Parbat when speaking of her time with the League of Assassins. Done right, and with the current success of TV shows involving the supernatural, Deadman could be a spin-off TV show.

Why can't she be killed - did I miss some explanation of a superpower with her or is she just been on the drug too?

If your talking about Isabel Rochev if you remember a couple of episodes back when Oliver found Roy hooked up to that machine and all of Slade's guys and he rescued them with help of Diggle showing up. Diggle shoots Isabel several times in the chest but at the end of the episode it shows her hooked up to the machine getting the miracuru (sp?) so she is now a super soldier like all of Deathstroke's masked men.

If they use the "choose" game for a third time in the finale I think I'll slap somebody.

Did not recall that. Thanks.

I constantly have to look up the summaries of past episodes to remember what minor events take place. The show has so many episodes per season that it's very easy to lose track. Not that I'm complaining though, as it's one of my favorite shows on TV at the moment.

Thoughts on the finale? Hope the ending doesn't mean more with this news!

'Arrow': John Barrowman Promoted to Series Regular for Season 3

'Arrow': John Barrowman Promoted to Series Regular for Season 3

The genre favorite has been added to the main cast for The CW's comic-book drama.

Malcolm Merlyn is sticking around on Arrow.

John Barrowman (Doctor Who) has been promoted to series regular for season three, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Barrowman was first introduced as Malcolm/Dark Archer in the fourth episode of the first season and had appeared in a few episodes in the sophomore run, before the final two hours set up his new arc.

The news comes after the finale featured Barrowman's Malcolm bringing Oliver's sister Thea under his wing, teeing up a potential new dynamic for father and daughter.

Stephen Amell teased the news Thursday on Twitter with a candid photo of himself and Barrowman at the network's annual upfront presentation in New York.

Barrowman joins an ensemble that includes Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Colton Haynes, Willa Holland, Paul Blackthorne and Emily Bett Rickards.

Arrow will return in the fall at 8 p.m. Wednesdays.
