My three year window on Pearl being gone still has time to run.

Haha ok.

I'm sure Pearl will be run out of Knoxville in your specified time frame.

How many more years until hes run out? I'm going to write it down this time.

Don't confuse naivete with out and out stupidity.

Indeed. But, back on topic, why would someone like Steve Donahue bother to talk to BC given their refusal to let other coaches move into better jobs without firing them (Jeff Jagodzinski comes to mind)?

Depends on if Donahue ever sees himself getting a job better than Boston College. If that's the level you think you settle at, you pursue the job.

Come on hatvol.

Answer boy.

How many more years until Pearl is "run out of Knoxville"

:eek:lol:

I can't believe you even attempted to defend that moronic statement.

If that is what you got out of what he said, you're far more ignorant than I originally thought.

The BC job is awful anyway. I'll wait to praise Pearl for loyalty until he gets offered and turns down a job equivalent to USC football. That hasn't happened yet.

He was offered Memphis,
that's a big basketball school. Especially at the time they offered. Although they did have the 'AA over their shoulder.

As I've said before, in my opinion 99.5% of the posters on this site are immature, undereducated, and proven losers. You thinking I'm stupid, or everyone on this site thinking I'm stupid wont make me lose a bit of sleep, big boy.

I didn’t think that it would sparky.

The only question I answer answer from Sewanee grads is "Would you like fries and a drink with that?" If you're so concerned with the statement, use your community college quality education and search for it. I realize that will take some time for a man of your intellectual skill, but I promise none of us will miss you.

Memphis is not on the same level as UNC, Kentucky, Kansas, etc.

Was it you who wrote that whiney letter to the mods?

  1. Skinner was let go before he contacted St. John's.
  2. St. John's is not a better job than BC.

I made no reference to Skinner in my post. I didn't realize that he was looking around for another job.

BC being a better job than St. John's is debatable, IMO.

If I remember right, the paper read "Bruce Pearl offered job at Memphis, 7 years, $21 million."
Those would be the same papers that had headlines stating "Cutcliffe to be hired at Tennessee", correct? You really should be careful about believing what you read.

If you got fired wouldn't you be looking around for another job?

Put that Sewanee education to use and find me a SPECIFIC example then.

What does hatvol mean by this?

I'm going to love pulling up this thread in a couple of years when KO has SC in the 'AAs and people here have finally clued in to what an utter sham and a snake Tanning Bed Bruce is.

You might as well stop. hat will fight to the death over Pearl being offered that Memphis job :eek:lol:
That would be, because unlike a knownothing like you, I know who was offered that job. Bruce Pearl was most certainly not one of those people. Just a figment of Geoff Calkins and Dana Pump's imagination.
