(As predicted). GET WORLEY OUT

I'm still waiting for the day when those of you that obviously know everything A) Turn in your application to be a coach or B) Go walk on since it's obviously easy to see everyone that is open on the field.

Worley has ZERO run support, thus meaning that UGA knows that he has to throw. He's not the best, but he's far from the biggest problem on the field right now. That is what should be easy to see.
Hey, genius, Butch is running the zone read. The zone read is predicated on reading the 9 technique and the safety and being a double threat running the ball and throwing it. Georgia knows that Worley is not a threat running or throwing. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the only threat we have is Lane, and Neal.

There's plenty of blame to go around today, including but not limited to Worley

The whole "some guys shine on game day" mantra is overplayed imo. I don't believe many freshmen quarterbacks who dont get it in practice suddenly get it during live game action.

It's well established at this point we don't have much chance of winning with Worley and it would be nice to see CBJ coach to win and not coach to avoid the blowout. If it's another Peterman debacle then it's another Peterman debacle...and the W/L record will still be the same but at least he coached to win.

Is it possible that we're not playing the freshmen QBs because Jones wants to tell the top 2014 QBs that they could come in and start immediately instead of it being because we want to redshirt them? (It could also be both) I just can't see a redshirt season being so important that we want to totally bomb this season. The biggest thing hurting this team right now is QB play. Period.

To me, coaching to win doesnt mean playing a quarterback who yu dont believe is your best option.

Thank you this x1000

We're not pursuing a QB in the 14 class. He could be doing it for the 15 class but I doubt it.

You don't follow recruiting do you? We're not recruiting a QB for the 14 class. Also, most, if not all "top" QBs are already verbally committed elsewhere.

Maybe Butch has seen them during practice and knows they are not ready to start in college. Maybe Butch knows a little more about coaching and evaluating talent then us here on volnation. Who knows?

Safe post for you freak, but the QB is like a Pitcher in Baseball- the most important position on the freaking field! Man up! We can do no worst than Worley?

The plan is for Worley to improve in these games, as bad as he is, so we can win the last three.

If Butch is not confident that the freshmen can't step in and do better than Worley or Peterman have this season, then I hope he reconsiders pursuing a QB in this class. This season's QB play is the worst I have ever witnessed. I know i'm only 25 but dang.

Then how bad are they if they are not even AS good as Worley?

They obviously must not practice hard, don't know the playbook, etc because Butch watches them on the practice field every day, not just read the recruiting writeups, and says Worley is better.

Who here thinks Worley finishes the year as our starter? I personally do not think it will be him.
