(As predicted). GET WORLEY OUT

Shut up. Please just SHUT UP!

Why is it obvious to everyone but you that we don't have a better option at QB? Did you even watch Peterman in the Florida game?

I watched him break his thumb which is pretty important to a QB. I'm sorry I guess I am the only one in here who has said they do not think Worley is a great QB. I will use a popular argument in here. Obviously Butch Jones, who is at practice everyday, thought that Peterman was the better option in that game and thus gave him the start. Don't cherry pick my arguments. I said that he would have to step up and play better in the second half or we wouldn't have a chance. He has done that and I will give him credit. It was a knee jerk reaction from me but I do not all of a sudden think he is good. He has stepped it up a little. The whole team has stepped up right now. Let's not anoint him as our savior because he is playing competent and getting in rhythm. I will however admit again that it was a little knee jerk to start a thread but I was obviously not the only one upset with his miserable first half play.

Not true, the ball was wide and the receiver made the play. If the North doesn't make the play he would not have faulted at all.

I was saying if Worley doesn't put the ball there, it is incomplete. Aka, not caught. My point exactly. He put it where his receiver could make a play. He put it where he had to.

That kid played his ass off today. We made chicken with chicken sh$&. If you can go back to the game Worley did not have a INT TODAY AGAINST #6 GA.

If you think a true freshman could have done better.... Your crazy

Worley played a pretty decent second half tonight........ If he keeps getting better at this rate he'll be a good QB before long.

If he can play a full game like he played the second half, we have a shot to beat USCe. The playbook looked wide open in the second half. I can't believe im saying this but Worley looked damn good the second half

Worley finally turned the corner tonight. I'm proud for him, and for his team. They matured before our very eyes tonight. I said it a couple of weeks ago, but I think we beat USCe. That will be Butch's statement win. It couldn't happen against a more fitting coach either: Steve Spurier.

Safe post for you freak, but the QB is like a Pitcher in Baseball- the most important position on the freaking field! Man up! We can do no worst than Worley?

Man up? Really?

I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but if this was my board and you were as condescending to me as you are to Freak, your ass would be gone.

The 2nd half was a maturation moment for this team. They believe they can win now. I am proud of them.

You can't blame JW for the fumble in the end zone. If some of you can't tell JW is improving, then you need to take the blinders off. The offense stepped up tonight and played as good as they could have.

I didn't read most of the post here however if it's slamming on Worley he played a solid game.... Do not show your ignorance about football!!!!!

all of those crying for a back up qb to start may get their wish and he may play like a doofus, then what will you complain about?

Just terrible. He looks scared and completely lacks confidence. Get him out

Your kidding, right? I doubt Worley will never be a Peyton Manning or top rated quarterback, but he did a very respectable job today. I am very proud of all the VOLs today. GBO.

The biggest problem with the offense today was the penalties. If we had cut those in half, we probably would have won in regulation.

It's a sad sad day when we say he's doing good just because he hasn't turned the ball over!! Worley has no vision!! Receivers wide open in the middle of the field and he throws 3yds behind the line of scrimmage to someone covered up!! We can't win with him! May as well see what the freshman can do!!

Alright, I'm man enough to say I was wrong! Worley settled in and kept us in this ball game! Great job Worley and great job team! It hurts, but it was a good game! Now I'll take off my orange Dooley pants and let Butch do the coaching!!

Just read QB stats. It shows Murray as 19/35 (.543), 196 yds, 5.6 yd avg per catch, 3 TD, 0 Int, 84.7 QBR. For Worley, 17/31 (.548), 215 yds, 6.9 yd per catch, 1 TD, 0 Int, 49.1 QBR. Except for TDs, Worley's specs look better, but his QBR is much lower. Anybody know how that works, seems that something is not right about that, unless TDs count a whole lot more than anything else. Just wondered. Thanks.

Worst post ever...

Worley played awesome tonight.. anyone who can't see how big of a step he took tonight is a complete idiot and knows nothing about football at all...

OP... do you even know how many quarters are in a game?

It will shock me if you do...

This kid took us into overtime against the #6 team in the nation and you want to replace him.:lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove:

I think the OP has tried the new drug krokodil. I have been hard on Worley but the kid played his azz off today.

Yes it is. The score is 17 to 3. Worley sucks.

And Dan Marino can't hold Trent Dilfer's jock strap because he never won a Super Bowl. By your logic, the entire 1st team should be replaced because of the score.

I wonder some times if people on here ever actually played any sort of organized sport (no, not video games or poker) at any time in their lives. Hard to believe anyone could be so clueless about a team sport had they ever picked up a bat or ball or had to struggle to win any sort of game with a team of players.
