As they are saying on UK's Site...

They went 35-3. What qualifies as masking?

I'm no Cal fan, but his squad wore it out for a team of freshmen.

They wore it out, until it really mattered... right BPV? Post season is all that counts. I've heard it around here for years.

Look, Kentucky has incredible talent and had an amazing year. They had to be the favorite to win the tournament with Kansas out. Today, Cal was out-coached, plain and simple.

It takes a team to win. We proved it yesterday. To say one or two players didnt do anything for the program because they didnt make it as far as we would have liked is wrong in my opinion. Without their success we wouldnt be where we are now.

I never said they did nothing, but Kentucky went from the NIT to 35-3 and the Elite Eight in one year. They had more success. You can't argue that.

We were dancing in the streets when we got as far as they did with their freshmen. Fan expecatations at KY dont change that they had to play poorly for anyone to beat them.

They shot exceptionally bad. It happens.

Link me your synopsis that shows how Ben Jacobsen outcoached Self and where you talked about his much older team wilting when it matters.

I didn't say that he held his own coaching. I never think he does, but he did mask something.

I'm just stating the fact that Calicheater had the most talented team left in the tourney and just choked on a national stage. I couldn't care less about Kentucky's fan expectations.

I think I read on Catspause where Huggins has an 8-1 record against Cal. That's being owned!

MR. Negavol is back.

I strongly suspect that the fact that Pearl has reached the first Elite Eight in school history with a grind-it-out, defense-oriented halfcourt team when he couldn't get there with more talented squads that pressed and shot 3's is a big part of the reason why Hat's showing a little love for Pearl these days, along with a healthy does of "I told you so."

He does now. I find it laughable. Cal is a joke. Give me one and done talent, I will take you to the promised land. Cal didnt deliver. Maybe next team he has on probation will get them there.

I think a one & done guy can help compliment a program and push them over the top if you have just one every couple of years at the most. You still need guys with experience and leadership and know how to battle. I think multiple one and dones and consistant one and dones does not win championships. Go Vols. And at least Calapari wont have to give back another final 4.:dance2:

I hesitate to read those boards. I'm not sure my heart could handle the excitement of witnessing the meltdown.

Actually, the most fun to read are the ones that like to excuse Cal's poor coaching because he is a great recruiter.
