Because there aren't any. He's completely wrong about that. I think last yr we might have lost an ol but to my knowledge that's it. He might bring up kimbrow or however you spell his name but we stopped recruiting him. there might be someone else that I might have missed though.

Andrew Jelks, who you could argue, may or may not have had a solid offer. He was a 3* OL I believe. BrIan Kimbrow was a 4* RB who had his UT offer pulled after acting like an idiot on an unofficial camp visit.

Andrew Jelks from last year. That's about it. I think Kimbrow is going to be a player. Whether we stopped recruiting him or not, I don't know the answer to that. Vanderbilt is recruiting well for Vanderbilt...have to give them credit. But Jelks is the only legit guy on our board that we lost head-to-head with Vandy. We still get what we want from this state as it pertains to Vandy. In state recruits and their parents know better.

It's Saban that's had success cherry picking this state, and Kiffin (Tee Martin) is joining club.

My understanding was you're responding to my question, and in responding you said there were sever in state or regional elite level recruits which vandy pulled over Tennessee.

Nobody cares about 3* that wasn't the point, the point was 5* talent, because that's what the previous poster was saying Nichols would turn down UT for Vandy. When I mentioned that as insane, you responded with, "If it's happening in football (not necessarily for academics), it's not that hard to imagine it happening in basketball.". That's you saying Vanderbilt is pulling elite level, 5* guys, away from Tennessee, is it not?

You said its happening in football, referring to the Memphis poster. The Memphis poster was saying vandy would pull 5* over Tennessee. Pretty simple concept here.

If you wanna talk about some 3* guys go for it, but that wasnt what was being referred to when you jumped in and defended him.
