At least 14 dead at Dark Night premiere in Colorado

The answer?
Death with absolutely no exposure.

Hopefully that's exactly what happens. He should get no exposure at all. I'm starting to understand why they only showed old photos of him and not his mugshot with his hair dyed. There are too many idiots out there that end up being fans of these bastards.

Sometimes you hear people say a lifetime in prison is worse than death for people like this. I have to agree somewhat. They were talking about Tim McVeigh on the radio , when talking about what they should do with this scumbag. The host said he read in a book about McVeigh , that he told everyone how much he wanted to live so they would kill him. He told his lawyers he got what he really wanted when they decided on the death penalty. He said he couldn't take living his life in a prison for the next 40 plus years. It makes you wish that he didn't get what he wanted and had to rot away for the rest of his life in misery. The only problem with that is the tax dollars that people like us have to pay to make sure his stays alive in prison.

Seeing how in most cases like this , the person usually kills themself , you have to think he wants his life. At least I hope he does and they give him exactly what he doesn't want. I guess that is what I'm all for. Whatever makes this pos miserable for the horrible things he has done. Either way , there is a special place in Hell waiting for him.

Ones academic level is a mental illness measurement?

No going out and trying to kill 100 hundreds of people at a movie premiere is a indication he might have a mental illness not his academic achievements. You're not the sharpest tool in the shed are you?

He thinks he's starring in a movie as the Joker.
They usually change their tune and become religious before they get the needle.

you are the da that suggested it was hard to believe he was doing academic work a few months prior, then did this. You insenuated that his mental illness didnt affect his work.

That shows incredible naivety of various forms of psychosis.

Released his mug shot

lol go see it. You'll be fine. This paranoia is an overreaction to a very traumatic national tragedy.

If you read the article, it was a bit of an overreaction too. Just trying for shock value in the title. Only 1 of the "separate incidents" actually involved guns, and that was a guy that was planning to shoot his boss.

Another was a drunk guy in the theater with a backpack (full of booze). Panic ensued when cops/security approached him about his being intoxicated.

The third was a guy that was frustrated at some technical difficulties. When the movie didn't start as planned he started going off about how he should go on a rampage like the guy in Colorado. Obviously a stupid and insensitive thing to say. He was likely drunk, too.

I was only semi-serious but it does make me a little nervous.

Pretty stupid for people to already be saying they would go on ramages like this. I hope guy was drunk for his sake.

I'll be honest, my wife and I went and saw it on Saturday afternoon, I wasn't worried but I can tell you I did notice people who got up and left the theater and came back during the movie more than I would have normally noticed.

+1. I say put him in isolation and let the victims family members stone him to death, but that's just me.

Christian Bale visiting with an injured survivor of the Aurora movie theater shooting.

Simply awesome.

Nice PR stunt. I don't think much of Christian Bale.

Kudos to WB for making him do it.
