Actually its around 120 wins..You know..to actually be "right beside UT"..

So a decade of undefeated seasons with bowl wins and Tennessee going full 1979 Gatard..yeah..you guys can catch up! Heck you'd be pretty close if UT went full 2013 Gatard for a while.

I'm content with the all-time series lead, and actually being alive to enjoy all the history our "Johnny Come Lately" program's made at UT's expense.

A young Florida fan born, let's say, in 1990, would have vivid memories of two Florida national titles and decent, if somewhat cloudy, memories of a third.

A Tennessee fan could definitely say the same, assuming he was in his early 70s and age hadn't started messing with his wits.

The Vol fans that use the "Johnny Come Lately" crap don't seem to realize to recruits for at least the last 5 years back on only have memories of Florida being a dominant, relevant program. If we're counting Spurrier's arrival as the start, then were at about 25 years now.

Granted Muschamp is doing his best to make it go back down, but still.

Exactly. The recruiting class of 2015 were all younger than 2 years old the last time Tennessee won a conference or national championship.

If it takes hitting rock bottom at Neyland to end the Musclecramp error, then so be it.

That said, I wouldn't trade UF recent success over the past 25 years for UT's past success over the past 100 years.

Ill give Florida the edge in doing things UT can't. Things like going 4-8..or 0-10.

And I'll give UT credit for losing to UF teams that finish 4-8.

I give UT fans like you credit for always pointing out what other schools accomplished...take Georgia Southern for instance...despite UT going almost a decade without doing the same.

I also give UT props for producing and selling DVDs titled "Decade of Dominance" in a decade where UF completely owned some of UT's most talented teams in school history.

I never pointed out what other schools did..just you guys aren't members of the 800 win club and won't be for at least a decade. Just facts.

More like a Twitter campaign targeted at high school recruits...stupid nonetheless.

It's not like our athletic department sold DVDs celebrating playing second fiddle to some other school in our division with no history or tradition.

And I hate to break it to you, but UF fans don't lose sleep over not being in the 800-win club...feel free to keep pounding your chest over it. :eek:k:

I have a great deal of respect for the Florida fans that come here and post respectfully, but good heavens you guys all turn into sensitive, whiney little brats if your team is at all mentioned in a negative light on this board. I don't know if it's because you're so greatly outnumbered and it makes you very insecure or what, but it's pretty sad how quickly your fair, reasonable posts and observations turn into a pissing fest as soon as someone says anything resembling the notion that maybe there are a pretty decent number of programs out there that are better than Florida.

Florida sucks (at the moment). UT sucks (at the moment). Anyone who denies that either of these programs aren't good right now is not being honest. Sure, make the argument that Florida is the taller midget, if that's what you need to hang your hat on, but go throw a pissy fit somewhere else. This is a rival board, of a rival team. You're going to get push back here.

Thanks for the info. I've lived in Florida for 15 years and I have no idea what media UF has put out because..wait for it.....I don't care. Seems you're more of a UT fan than me.
