Nico definitely has his faults but benching him now means you’re basically quitting on your team and could lead to looker room issues.

Terrible idea like others have said.

Lol where did i say we should bench Nico? Hes playing this season fully regardless. The topic is on next season without grabbing a Portal QB we will have
Rs Soph nico RsFr Merk TrFr Mcyintire

If Nico doesn't improve by next season do we just stick with him and tank another season? According to yall it takes a full season worth of games before a qb is able to hit wide open recievers in this offense. So i suggested we grab a Older QB in the portal incase Nico is a bust.

This is SEC football and still slower than the NFL, but the QB only has 2-4 seconds to go through reads and get the ball out of his hands or decide to run. That's it. The offensive line cannot hold SEC defenders who may very well be playing in the NFL in a couple of years indefinitely. As we have no passing game for now as our QB currently does not see the field well and not making judgements fast enough, we won't be able to run either as the other team knows our situation. It will be a rough year.

I’m hoping Nico can grow up similar to what we saw with Dobbs. I remember him looking so skinny out there as a freshman and by junior year he’d put on what seemed like forty pounds and was a completely different athlete.
