At what point do you expect the $8,000,000 man play up to his compensation level?

Manning is not a superstar. They think he is until the play someone with a pulse.

All of that is fine and good.however, the money drastically changes expectations. This is now a professional sport.

Currently we aren't allowed to expect average QB play as he has only been in the program for about 18 months with 7 starts

I agree it changes expectations, but it doesn’t change reality. Tennessee overall team is good but they are not dominant like Bama was it every position with Bryce Young as a rich freshman. I think he needs to show drastic improvement as a sophomore moving forward, with the ability to win games with his direct play
