Accurate write-up about Neyland. When full, it is the best in the country. These last few years, not so much.

Seeing as how about a week ago somebody ranked the top stadiums in the country according to them. It included pro and college, baseball, football, and or basketball. We were the top college stadium in the country. Third in the SEC is bull hockey. Athlon needs to get a life.

Sanford Stadium doesn't even touch Neyland Stadium.

And while I am willing to admit that Kyle Field will probably become the gold standard in college football stadiums, it is not very aesthetically pleasing at the moment.

Anybody saying that is being a homer IMO. Sanford is a really good place to watch a game.

Really, I'd say you can throw a blanket over the top 5 in those rankings plus maybe Auburn and South Carolina. They each are nice stadiums with positives and negatives.

No. Sanford is not that great. It's okay, kind of pretty. Been there 5 times. Top 4 currently in SEC are Tiger, Neyland, Ben-Hill Griffin, and Bryant Denny in whatever order you like. Sanford is right behind those. Kyle Field may pass all soon. Depends on how it works out. No way Sanford is number two if you have ever been to rivalry games at Death Valley at night, Neyland at night during a decent SEC season, or the Swamp in the heat of September.

Then again, all this crap is opinion from everybody so not like anyone will change their mind and everyone's experiences at these are different. I would drop Sanford to 5 or 6 and jostle the others ahead any way you wanted. No offense to GA, not bad, just not quite as much magic/electricity as the others listed despite being a pretty/nice stadium

Sanford stadiums ok if you don't mind getting spit on. Williams Brice is ranked way to low also. But neyland is the best buy far imo
