That's why I think it's imperative they resign him. Of course I basically get laughed at everytime I type this. Where else are they going to get a good-great lessors man capable of hitting for his average + the ability to swipe 30-40 bases a year?

I'd like to see him back too, because he's almost certain to be better the next couple of years than whoever the Braves find to put out there. But Bourn is not as good as he's been the first month and a half of 2012. Whoever signs him will be buying high on a 30 year old player whose whole game is based on speed. It's going to be a risky contract anyway, because if he loses a step as he moves into his mid 30s then he's useless. Add in the Braves' recent history with the free agent market and I just can't see it happening.

The ball was hit well but not crushed a step to his right. He did not even react to step, he just fell over and looked about as goofy as he does when he gives those stupid hugs.

B) He does not have the athleticism to play third. Looking at him running and on defensive range, he just doesn't have it.
