Seriously guys, we were just friends. Never went out on a date or anything. I guess her being in my homeroom allowed us to become pretty close friends because we saw each other first thing every school day & we sat beside each other in class.

That's all there was to it. I can promise you that! I was too busy playing sports in high school to worry about girls. I know it sounds dumb but that was the truth with me back then.

Demeritte served an 80-game suspension last year for PED use. He was a 1st round pick (No. 30 overall) in 2013

Demeritte is (21), is a slugging 2B in #Rangers org (1st rounder 2013) Hit .272/.352/.583 with 25 HR in High-A. Originally from Winder, GA.

You'll plum crazy! Benji my 2nd cousin does have some mula floating around but it's protected under law & lock! LOL!

BTW, will be going to see him pitch this coming month from August 11th-14th at Hickory. That's if he stays at Rome. He still has a 0.00 ERA with 3 SV in 3 OPP. 3 hits in 10 innings pitched.

There's a chance he makes the jump to Carolina before August 11th. We're so proud of him. He's been unhittable in his 9 APP so far in the minors.
