So, in the last 48 hours or so, Donald Trump gets inaugurated and the Falcons win the NFC.

I've never done meth, but there's no way the trip could be any weirder than this.

If you gave me a million guesses which music video Verc would link in celebration immediately following the Falcons clinching a spot in the SB, I would have NEVER guessed it would be that. Also, talk about over the top and arbitrary censorship on that particular version.

I assure you that the version that was playing in the house here while Mrs Verc and I were dancing the Dirty Bird had full profanity.

Nice. I just laughed at the bizarre choice to censor non-profanity in the first verse. "I ***** ya spleen, as a matter of fact I ***** ya team, no blood on the sneaks gotta keep it so my kicks is clean."

I gotta hand to whomever made the bold move to mortgage the future on a WR. I thought it was stupid to give up so much for a WR, and 9 out of 10 times it probably is, but Julio is the exception.

Brady wins 5 and he is the GOAT. I hate to admit it but it's the truth.

Brady plays for the greatest coach in NFL history and his teams have gone 11-6 without him since he became the starter. He gets to start out every year with at least one home playoff game practically guaranteed. Brady's a great QB but let's not pretend he's not had the great fortune of playing his whole career with the difficulty set to Easy.

He's had some definite built in advantages, but it's still damn impressive that he's had the type of success he has all while barely ever having anything reminiscent of an elite WR. He had Moss for a couple years in the back end of his prime, but that's it.

Plus he's in a division with the Dolphins, Bills, and Jets. The Patriots are documented, habitual cheaters. Perfect storm.

A) I am in no way saying that Brady isn't a great QB, one of handful of the very best. I am merely s***ing on the idea that he's the GOAT because RINGZZZZZ. By that metric Terry Bradshaw's an all-timer, and I watched all four of Bradshaw's Super Bowl wins, and I'm not sure that dude could have beaten out Josh Dobbs.

B) After six years of watching Julio yo-yo in and out of the lineup I have come to believe that even elite WRs are less of a factor than you'd think. Either the offense works or it doesn't.

I can't stand the Pats but they're going to be hard to beat guys. Atlanta's offense is on fire but the Pats have a better defense than the Packers. I hate to say it folks but Brady gets another ring. I'lll say 41-27 Pats.

No buts. Just facts, looking at what he has done, he will be the most storied QB ever.

I don't know what this word means. I wouldn't even take him over Aaron Rodgers, much less all time.

You know how the Alabama RB is almost always a Heisman finalist, regardless of how good he turns out to be? Brady's basically been the Alabama RB for a decade and a half, in that it's almost impossible to disentangle his success from the unbelievably perfect situation he's operating in.

Happy for all you Falcons fans but, as a netrual, that was one chitty ass championship weekend.

No doubt. Two games largely over by halftime is a letdown for everybody else. The playoffs in general have been pretty lame this year. One good game out of ten is awful.
