Got my concealed carry a couple weeks back. Not sure why I've waited this long.
My man.
You guys have to understand, I see the absolute worst in people every single day. The darkest facets of our society. It's totally jaded me and I freely admit that. The thought of NOT having a gun on me at all times terrifies me...not just what could happen to me or my family, but the thought of living with myself if something happened to someone else that I could have prevented if I had been armed.
I realize it's not a point of view that everyone can understand. I'm actually grateful for that.
LOL
I respect the man's point of view, even if I disagree.
Mainly a Beretta Sub 9mm. Have a Smith .22 mag, and recently added a Glock .40 that I am getting accustomed to. Really liking it.
You responded with an LOL so I'm glad you knew my comment was extremely tongue in cheek.
We've talked about it at least a little bit before in here but I think I'm pretty much in the middle between you and Scott on one end and Brown on the other.
Which Glock? 22, 23 or 27?
I wear the 27 on my ankle while I'm working because I can interchange mags with my 22 (which is on my side) if needs be. I must say, though...the ballistics on the new 9mm ammo is just as good as the .40 now, and I've considered changing over to 9mm completely. I have a subcompact 9, the Glock 43, that is super-sweet. My wife has the 42 (the .380) that basically fits in your pocket.
I also have a 21, the .45, which is like a cannon.
It's the 22.
9mm is probably my favorite caliber. I was actually thinking about looking into a .380 for my wife. She held one at the range and it seemed to fit her, and more importantly she was comfortable with it. I like the .45, more gun than I need. My buddy has a glock 10 mm and it's not overly enjoyable to shoot. Plus the rounds are really expensive.
