If you shoot outside much, look into changing your sights out for a set of TruGlo. It's amazing how much faster you can pick up your front sight, and they're really affordable.

I've thought about it, I'll look into it. Some of the sights get up there in costs, but everyone I talk to say it's worth it. I've got truglo sights on a shot gun and they have been excellent.

Morning of one of my buddy's wedding, we went and shot skeet all morning. His dad is a police officer, so we shot a pistol of his a bit, too.

I shot one into the dirt. Way short. Ocercorrected and found the woods.

We've talked about it at least a little bit before in here but I think I'm pretty much in the middle between you and Scott on one end and Brown on the other.

I'm fully cognizant of the needs for guns now as society stands, especially the good guys having them, and can even somewhat justify having a gun in your home...cats too far out of the bag, etc.

Conceal carry seems a bit much and open carry is the dumbest thing ever.

On a macro idealistic level though, no one needs/should have a gun for any reason.

You guys have to understand, I see the absolute worst in people every single day. The darkest facets of our society. It's totally jaded me and I freely admit that. The thought of NOT having a gun on me at all times terrifies me...not just what could happen to me or my family, but the thought of living with myself if something happened to someone else that I could have prevented if I had been armed.

I realize it's not a point of view that everyone can understand. I'm actually grateful for that.

Buddy has an AR .22 with a bump stock. Very fun, you can go though a block of 550 rounds in no time and feel like you didn't fire a round.
