That's cool man. Safe to say we're on opposite ends of the spectrum here, but we knew that already. I don't know what your definition of "mass murder" is, but I'm pretty sure the terrorists in London demonstrated that you can kill and hurt a lot of people without guns or bombs. I'm going to go out on a limb and say you don't want to ban cars, though...even though someone behind the wheel can, in fact, choose when your life ends.

The idiot in London killed only five people, whereas the attackers in the Paris theater used assault rifles and killed 90. The guy in Orlando killed 50. The terrorists in San Bernardino killed 14. Etc etc. Which is my whole point. The efficiency of these fsckers goes way way up when they can get hold of these weapons.

I'm under no illusions that murderous attacks will somehow disappear if we get guns under control. There will always be idiots, fanatics, and crazy people. But just because we can't do everything means we must do nothing.

It's easy to just say "I don't want to talk about this anymore" and let it go, but I enjoy the discourse without feeling like I have to try to talk anyone into anything. We already know that we're probably not going to change our minds on the issue, but I really do try to keep my mind as open as possible to alternative perspectives.

I'm honestly not trying to be a jerk about it, but after about the third or fourth day of it being bumped with the same redundancy.. it's starts to weigh on the general demeanor of the thread.
